We stayed for 3 nights on the 16th floor. The room was very comfortable and had everything we could have needed - even a view !
We were very impressed by how helpful and friendly the hotel staff were. Answering questions, and then anticipating the next question. Happy to chat and make sure that there was nothing further you needed. Very refreshing for a city centre hotel.
There was a wedding going on when we arrived, but we got plenty of attention, and our room was made ready.
The hotel has a restaurant and a separate bar.
The location is very central to the main areas, and its easy to take the cable car to Fishermans Wharf if you need to.
Excellent choice for a 4 star hotel.
For a romantic evening, try BIX, which is a short walk away and has live music. Michael Mina is also worth a visit and close by on California. Neither rush you through your meal ! If youre from the UK, avoid House of Prime Rib.
If you have time, go to Napa Valley - wonderful!

Initial welcome was great, and did'nt disapoint our expectations. Location was great to explore all areas of Frisco, tram stop directly outside the hotel. City line, buses & bart also located in all areas close to hotel. Tram line currently being improved outside hotel but this did not spoil our stay. Did'nt eat at hotel as it was quite pridcey. But again this did not spoil ourstay in anyway as the choices of eatery are in abundance.Chinatown very close, and Northbeach. Always light refreshments; warm cider or iced tea and fruit in reception. Sign in to guessed services, it takes to minutes, and is free. You can have tea, coffee, or hot chocolate for free delivered to your room, plus internet access. Would go back to the Omni again. All were welcomed, from business people to families :)

Very nice, clean, well maintained, centrally located business hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There were no unpleasant surprises during my stay except for the $50 breakfast for 2 in their restaurant.

Was a little hesitant, given the room rates but i splurged on a nice hotel for my SF holiday and really enjoyed it.
* Concierge desk was very knowledgeable and helpful with my questions.
*Rooms were very generous and beautifully finished and furnished.
* Complimentary wifi in the lobby is a godsend.
*Snacks (fruit and juice) are complementary for guests upon arrival. Awesome for the afternoon munchies when you duck back to hotel before dinner; and to revive yourself after check in; and much healthier.
*Private limo service to the airport is also an option
* No electric kettle to boil water in your room for tea. Have to make do with the lukewarm water from new fangled coffee percolator thing. The machine appears to be the norm in most American hotels.

Stayed for a week on business in April,I was very pleased with the Omni.
It is perfectly situated to all amenities and the great shopping of Union Square, great food and restaurants nearby, and close to financial district for work.
I was greeted by name, made to feel welcome, and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel amenities. Comfy beds, luxuriously appointed rooms, this is one of the better San Francisco hotels, no question.

We stayed a couple of days in SF in this hotel.
Just excellent. We also got a good price through Expedia. Super friendly staff. Great location. Walking distance to BART. 10 min walk to Union square and 2 min walk to china town. 30 minutes stroll along the water to pier 33 for Alkatraz.
If you can stay in this hotel, just do. We will do again next time!
We signed up with the loyalty scheme over the internet as someone here suggested. This was great, we got free internet and 2 drinks per person free in the morning delivered to the room. Try their orange and tomato juice! ;-)

Room Tip: Sign up with loyalty scheme!

Great staff. Very good choice for downtown. A few blocks from the Ferry building, Union Square, Nob Hill & North Beach. Neighborhood is quieter than Union Square, although you can hear every noise from nearby rooms.

Complimentary coffee with steamed milk and various newspapers are a nice touch, and the workout room is better than at most similarly-priced hotels.
