I stumbled across this absolutely humming little cafe with a line out the door on my way to a trip to the park for some people watching. I'm glad I waited in it because the food was phenomenal. I had a banana smoothie and the apple smoked bacon, turkey and about sandwich. Both were amazing. The staff were absolutely lovely and the atmosphere buzzing. I hope I make it back there before I leave the city to try more of the menu, the breakfast looked fab too.

The location couldn't be any better (corner of Dolores Park). The food is fine; it can be really crowded on a sunny weekend day. Good option for breakfast.

this is where the Mission comes for its pear and pecan salad with blue cheese dressing, it's bee pollen smooothies, it's wifi with a view. Behold the hipsters gathering in Dolores park opposite--see them do their guerrilla knitting, hear them discuss their 'projects', envy them. And do it all with tasty, healthy, reasonably priced salas, soups and sandwiches.

Went here for lunch mid-week. A great location adjacent to Dolores Park means there is lots of passing trade as well as regulars from the area. The place is child and dog friendly with tables inside and out. Great place for people watching; interesting decor and a "happening" feeling, but food and service were average and I felt that perhaps the cafe is resting on its reputation rather than trying to keep up standards.

We dropped in for Sunday lunch. The cafe was very busy and it took a while to find a table. We ordered two sandwiches: a Pastrami on Rye and a Cheese Toastie. Service was quite prompt and both sandwiches were good but the prices were a bit high even for San Francisco. Unfortunately, the cafe was very noisy, even when the lunch crowd rush was over.
