Yummy hot chocolate!
First one "mission hot chocolate" was very cinnamon-y and slightly overpowering..think it's an acquired taste. The staff were so friendly and helpful, swapped for a house hot chocolate without having to ask!
Looking forward to trying more and different types of chocolate next time!

Thank Bobby R

Fabulous artisanal chocolate shop in the Mission! They have little nibs of their single source chocolate in bowls to sample which is a great way to figure out which you prefer! Very good chocolates and cookies as well. I particularly enjoyed the Camino Verde variety from Ecuador. My companion raved about the Nutella cookie! Very pretty shop.

Bean to Bar Chocolate here!! Great small company that does beautiful work. Delicious chocolate, nice shop, classes offered. We bought chocolate bars for gifts. Beautiful wrappers on the bars. Had delicious think shots of chocolate with little "homemade" marshmallows. We will be back!!!

We actually came to Dandelion Chocolates because a friend recommended it. It was rather far from our hotel (Nob Hill area), but we decided to take a cab and check it out. As soon as we opened the door, the aroma of chocolate was beautiful! They sold many different chocolate coffees, chocolate bars, and even a "flight" of brownies.

Because we had just been next door to Craftsman and Wolves, and eaten plenty there, we weren't able to eat or drink anymore! We did buy two bars of "limited edition" chocolate from Papua New Guinea and Dominican Republican. It was expensive for chocolate (about $10/bar).

The chocolate was good, but not what I expected for the price. Would we come back? Probably not. It's just too far from anything, and the cab ride is expensive. I am glad we tried it once though.
