Owner description: Experience a private custom tour in a convertible MINI Cooper! Affordable VIP service that takes you where most other tour companies are not allowed. Knowledgeable, local guide who loves San Francisco. Visit boutique Wine Country wineries other tour companies can’t go to in fun and style. We’re the only open-top custom tour in the city. Great for photographers, couples wanting to get away from crowds, or anyone wanting an experience as unique as San Francisco. We go where the big bus tours can't. Cruise down the twists of Lombard Street. Travel up to sweeping views of Telegraph Hill and Coit Tower. See the mansions of Pacific Heights and Sea Cliff. All tours are personalized--see what you want as long as you want. Door to door service. You're in a special city--why take an ordinary tour?

My 13-year old daughter and I spent a delightful afternoon with Reed. He had an incredible amount of knowledge about so many varied bits of San Francisco history and was an engaging storyteller. While we had a rough plan for the afternoon, he suggested a couple things along the way that we truly enjoyed (Lucas Films office at the Presidio!). I loved the private tour aspect that allowed us to go where we wanted, rather than on a set list. Also, Reed is not one of those annoying tour guides who talks non-stop, but he doles out stories here & there & then gives you quiet time to look around & enjoy. I would recommend Reed if you're in town on a business trip & want someone to show you around solo, or if you're on a family trip with kids - because you can adjust the activities & stops to what your kids enjoy. This was well worth the extra money over a big tour bus (plus...you can actually SEE things in the mini cooper).

Everything about this tour, from beginning to end, was faultless. From arranging pick up at hotel, tailoring the tour to what we wanted to see, it was so much more than just a sight seeing tour as Reed continually added nuggets of information that made it the most interesting sight seeing tour we've ever been on. If you only do one thing in San Francisco this should be it ..... You won't regret it!

It is not an exaggeration to say that this was the best tour I have ever taken. From the initial contact, through the process of scheduling tours, during the tour, and after it, Reed is the best tour operator I have ever encountered. He loves and lives both the subject (San Francisco and nearly areas) and his job. We took a three-hour San Francisco tour with Reed yesterday and enjoyed every moment of it. The day was rainy, and Reed offered to end the tour since the roof could not be down on the convertible for much of the door. We turned his offer down and it was our best decision of the day. We traveled to many areas of the city, saw things people do not get to see on bus tours, and had many lessons in the history of this beautiful city. Reed provided recommendations for touring on our own and restaurant ideas and also offered his assistance if we needed any advice during the rest of our time here. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a fantastic tour of San Francisco!!

We had 2 days in SF at the beginning of a 3 week Californian trip and I booked Reed for a 3 hour city tour. From the moment we were picked up outside our hotel until Reed kindly dropped us off at Pier 39 to complete our first day as tourists we had the most amazing, brilliant and one of the top highlights of our holiday. My husband and I will never forget driving down Lombard Street, going up to Coit Tower, photos by Golden Gate Bridge, driving round The Presidio and our first view of Alcatraz all from the comfort of Reed's Mini Cooper convertible and so much more...
The only thing I wish I had done was book Reed for longer ! If you are going to SF and can only do one thing book Reed. He made our trip and we saw and heard about the history and garnered great bits of information about the cable cars and so much that a guide book can't tell you, and you get views , a WOW up and down every hill !
It was a total joy being driven by Reed and I know we really enjoyed SF so much more having seen it from Reed's convertible.
Also all the extra information from Reed by email was so helpful and interesting. Restaurant suggestions and top insider tips from a local ! Unmissable, book Reed now and don't miss the definite highlight of your trip ! If we return to SF I would book Reed again for our next instalment...

Reed is amazing!! We were going to book him for a San Francisco tour but he was booked those days. He sent us a ton of information anyhow. So, when we decided we wanted a ride out of the city to Sonoma he was available. He showed us around the Sea Cliff area of San Francisco. Took us around the area to get great shots of San Francisco and the Bridge. Took us to Baker's Beach and told us the history of those neighborhoods and around the Presidio. Then he took us on to Muir Woods which was amazing and we spent almost 2 hours there. Then we went on to Sonoma and he showed us two wineries, Larson's and Gundlach Bundschu Wineries. Both of these were great, especially Gundlach. Then he took us to our hotel in Sonoma. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. The mini-cooper was super fun and we went over the Golden Gate Bridge--that might of been my highlight!! Call Reed if you are in town and need a tour guide for sure!!!
