I think one reason there were poor reviews before is because the hotel doesn't offer air conditioning and doesn't have a full service concierge as some would expect with a large hotel. We stayed with a group of girls in August, and since the weather is usually still cool at that time, we didn't need air conditioning. A little noisy at night though, with the windows open.
We stayed in a Junior Suite, but the other rooms looked small from what I could tell.
The breakfast offered was a great surprise and very well maintained! It is hosted in the hotel restaurant on the second floor. At night this turns into quite a happening place.
Overall, we were happy to find something to house us at night while we went around and enjoyed the city.More
