Very nice and very clean. Staff is very friendly. Ask for a room with a view. Otherwise you may be looking at the rooftop of the building next door. No need for a night lite. There is nothing like seeing the lights patterns on the Bay Bridge twinkle while laying on bed. They have choclate chip cookies at the desk late evenings.

We recently stayed at Harbor Court Hotel while visiting family in SF area. It is extremely clean with a lovely lobby. One side of the hotel faces Embarcadero and it is near the Ferry buildings. Even without a room with a view, we were comfortable and happy. We were able to get an early check-in as my husband is disabled. The staff, including Sandi and Francisco, did everything they could to help us. We ate at Perry's a few doors away; the food and service were great.
I can't wait to stay at Harbor Court next time I come to town. Everyone was just so helpful and friendly--it was like being a home. By the way, the bed had high quality sheets and was so comfortable. Though small, the other features made up for it.

Room Tip: If you want a view of the bay, be sure and request.

I've stayed here 3-4 times on business. Always friendly service and some of the staff actually remembered me the last couple of times I stayed - always a nice feeling and makes me want to return.
The rooms I've stayed in are small but are clean!
I love that wifi is free if you are a kimpton member. I haven't been able to enjoy the happy hour they have ever evening (free drinks!) but I do appreciate that they have this. This is a practice I've seen at all kimpton properties I've stayed at.
The only con I've had really is that the rooms I've stayed in have little to no signal for cell phone.

Location is great - can easily walk to the Ferry building and the muni is close by!
The sushi restaurant next door is great too!

Room Tip: ask for room w/ a view.

I stayed at the hotel for 6 days, on holiday and the location cannot be beat. The room was on the smallish side but since I was traveling by myself this was not a drawback. The hotel is centrally located and I could walk to Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, etc.. all in all a perfect stay. The only room for improvement is the lack of breakfast.. though youbcan include it in your booking if you book directly on the hotel website! Highly reccommended!

The hotel is very conveniently located not far from the Bart station that takes you straight to the SFO airport. Definitely, take a room with a view on the Bay Bridge- I just couldn't stop myself from taking photos to capture the view at different times of the day! The room itself could be a bit more spacious but it has big windows and lets in so much natural light that it compensated for the space for me. The area is great if you like to be close to action but not crammed among hundreds of tourists like around Fisherman's Wharf. If you plan a Big Bus tour around SF the stop is just outside the hotel. There is also a local market just outside in the Ferry Building where you have plenty of spaced to get good coffee and breakfast. It's also not for to the Union Square if you plan shopping and the Alcatraz tours. It's also a great location to go for a morning run along the Bay. The room was quiet with a big comfortable bed. There was also free WIFI but for some reason I was struggling to sign in before the page refreshed which was very frustrating. It was much quicker to do it on a laptop though.
The restaurant downstairs is great for cocktails and food and with great ambience. It's not your typical hotel restaurant- soulless and boring.

If you've stayed at a kimpton before, I don't need to go on and on...you know they're something special. But what makes this one stand out is the location. Right under the Bay bridge with a great view and walking distance to the ferry building, local artists, restaurants and food trucks! I can't wait to return to walk to a giants game and try the sushi restaurant right next door to the hotel...looks delicious!!!

I'm already a fan of the hotel and location, but I've been meaning to write a nice note to compliment Sandi and Chris at the front desk. These two are sweethearts and gems. Keep up the great work, you two!
