It is very convenient location, just steps to China Town shops, Little Italy and Financial Dist. restaurants. Parking is very expensive. Taxi's are costly... to and from Airport is over $50. The Wine bar is not necessary and detracts from lobby.

Thank you for submitting a guest review. Our team is dissappointed that the service and accommodations were average during your past stay. We do understand how the cost of parking and cabs negatively affected your past stay. Management encourages guests to take the BART from San Francisco Airport which runs directly to the terminal. We also are near the cable car lines as well as the muni bus lines. Our team hopes that you will return and stay with us again.

Nice hotel but needing some updating in the rooms. Friendly staff, great views and convenient location. Ask for an upper floor for the best views. These include a balcony with nice seating for 2 on cushioned team chairs. Nice touch.

Room Tip: Request upper level exec floor to enjoy view and balcony

The staff was very nice and professional. It was very conveniently located being near to all the cable cars. We ate dim sum at a restaurant called city view recommended by the staff and it was a homerun - just a tad on the expensive side but well worth it for a good clean restaurant.
The hotel room itself was clean and had a small couch inside the room. The view of the city was amazing.
Overall a gteat hotel and would stay here whenever I am in the area.

Very nice hotel. Nice staff. My room was comfortable and kept clean on a daily basis. I didnt like the location as there was not much outside of the area to do as far in relation to dining. The In Room dining experience was good. I would recommend this hotel for future business trips.

I recently stayed at this hotel for business. If you compare it to the Hilton at Union Square, it definitely comes up short. There are two main items that lead me to this conclusion, First, the hallways are desperately in need of both carpet replacement and better lighting. You would have thought you were in a one or two star hotel. The carpets were dirty and well worn and the lighting was very dim. Second, the noise outside can be heard very well even on the upper floors. if you stay in the rooms furthest away from the elevator, there are nightly banging and movements of dumpsters that make noise for almost 30 minutes. The windows are not insulated and this even makes other outside noise seem loud. On the positive side, the location was quite good. It is central to the business district and only a 25 minute walk to the wharf. While the walk to the wharf is not bad (mostly downhill), the walk back is a bit more stressful. I would recommend at least taking the cable car to California Street, and then your walk again is downhill back to the hotel. The beds were quite comfortable and the room temperature stayed consistent throughout the night. The rooms, including the bathroom, were a bit on the smaller side, but there was still adequate room to move around. The restaurant breakfast was good, but there was no option to have anything but scrambled eggs if you wanted the buffet. As previously mentioned, parking is on the expensive side, but that is pretty much the norm for all hotels in downtown San Francisco.

Thank you for submitting a guest review. Our hotel has replaced all of the hallway carpet. I assure you that our Housekeeping team is taking corrective actions to address the issues with the cleanliness of the halls. We did complete the installation of brand new windows that are now double paned to increase the quietness and comfort of each room. On behalf of our staff, I, sincerely, apologize for any inconvenience that we caused. We hope that you will return and choose to stay with us again.

Very pretty, well run, but I personally prefer boutique hotels. Well located though the area is pretty dead in the evenings. We had a room on the 24th floor, which was spacious and very comfortable. For some reason the hallways smelled like old food, reminding me of an old folks home. For the price they are asking for I would expect better, but then people like to pay for the name.

I love this hotel -- great experience and it is within walking distance of the waterfront, full financial district and waterfront. Also, great views -- ask for Bay views and right at the end of Chinatown. I highly recommend it.
