in an expensive city! Good food, good location, nice people. I'd stay here again and the other friends that stayed there said they would also. It's not as quaint as some of the older places but the value is certainly there.

I felt fortunate this time around, being able to stay at this hotel! It's situated in the perfect spot for business and leisure travelers alike! Located right on the northeastern border of Chinatown, this very comfortable hotel is also just about a 15 minute walk to the ferry terminal and the Embarcadero, not to mention some San Francisco's greatest neighborhoods!

The staff is welcoming, courteous and they all seem to have a desire to make their guests feel important and comfortable.

I approached "Joel", the concierge, for a recommendation of a good Chinese restaurant as I felt that it would be impossible to make a good, educated choice from the literally hundreds of choices to be had in the nearby Chinatown. Joel offered an excellent option based on my preferences which was a short walk from the hotel. I suppose this is the very basic job requirement of a concierge, however, it's all in the delivery of the options offered and how well they consider your specific needs that dictates just how good they are this job, and Joel was great!

I'll make every effort to stay at this hotel in future, whether I'm here for business or pleasure!

Room Tip: Request a room on a high floor and on the North side of the building for the best view.

Stayed for 5 days and 4 nights to attend a conference, nice to be close to Chinatown , walking to Moscone Centre was pleasant, Hotel was nice but would have picked a room facing away from Kearny Street as it can be noisy. Overall experience was good, room was clean, service okay.

Very nice, comfortable rooms. The rooms on the higher floors have pretty good views. The staff is very professional. Walking distance to Chinatown, North Beach and the Coit Tower. My only complaint is having to pay extra for WiFi in the room. It should be included in the rate (which is on the high side). I did not eat at the restaurant or drink at the bar since there are numerous excellent restaurants and bars nearby.

Room Tip: High floor

Nice hotel, location is on the poor side And for what you pay you don't get WiFi in your room, I find that being on the tacky side Restaurant is very expensive for Breakfast. would stay at another Hilton just not this location in San Francisco

This was our first time to San Francisco and we stayed at the Hilton Financial District for 3 nights. Wow, I don't know how anybody can write a bad review about this hotel. We called ahead of time and asked if we could get an upgrade since we were celebrating our 25 year anniversary. We were upgraded to floor 27 with a balcony overlooking the bay. The location of the hotel is perfect when visiting fishermans wharf, china town and North Beach (which was our favorite). The hotel is nice, rooms are clean and staff is great. Everyone made us feel welcome the minute we got out of our cab. Thanks for a great stay and I would definetly recommend this hotel for your visit to San Francisco.

The view from the 23rd floor of the Hotel offers the most commanding, sweeping and powerful view of San Francisco than any other Hotel I've ever stayed at. The bed was soft and comfortable and thank goodness the TV worked because I was thee to watch a 49er game while watching the view. Convoluted I know, but it works.

Room service for the game offered a wide variety of food which was brought timely for the start of the game. As I recall it was a submarine type sandwich which I had picked for the game not for the view. At the end of the game I ordered a bottle of Champagne which was for the view and not the game. A bit pricey but worth every penny since it fit a first class view.

This hotel is my favorite in all of San Francisco and when I want that view from the top (floor that is) this is where I stay.

Room Tip: For a room with a view book well in advance.
