Pleasant, very close to Fisherman's Warf. Close to the street cars, cable cars, and bus tour lines. Easy to get from the Embarcadero BART station to the hotel by taxi or cable car. Rooms were nice and the staff was 4 star quality.

Stayed here for 5 nights for a business trip. It was in a good location....close to Fisherman's Wharf but the wi-fi was not very good in my room (4th floor). Bed was also a little too firm and since my room faced the street, it wasn't very quiet. Breakfast is also really expensive. For the buffet, it costs me $30 with tip. Since I liked the waffkes, I decided to get just that and a coffee the next morning and imagine the surprise on my face when the bill came out to almost $25 with tip. I guess you're paying for the convenience. If I wasn't there, I would have tried to get breakfast elsewhere. The hotel employees though were very nice

We stayed here in May 2014 as part of our honeymoon (after getting married in Vegas).

When we first arrived, the hotel did not have any record of our booking. Patricia and Nessa (I hope I got Nessa's name correct) were so so helpful and let us check in and stay while they contacted our travel agent in order to sort out the problem. We were quite anxious about the issue as this was not the first problem we and/or our guests had encountered with the travel agent on this holiday, but the staff were so reassuring and the issue was sorted before we left. Thank you so much again for all of your help and for upgrading our room, you are all truly lovely people.

The hotel is quite aged in its decor, but it is clean and in a perfect location for Fisherman's Wharf and to get on the City Sightseeing tours around the city.

Would definitely stay here again.

Typical Holiday Inn but staff were really great. Had plenty of parking for a fee. We paid $299. for one night, pay in advance rate and were shocked to see almost $100. in fees and taxes added to it at the end. This IS San Francisco, remember! There are taxes and taxes on taxes in this city. Clean, spacious rooms. Alittle noisy on the street side. Apples at check-in. Pricey cafe with great food and also a counter where you can buy a continental breakfast. Location is super and you can walk to shops and restaurants on the wharf. Never used the internet but there is a business center on the second floor with computers for use. Also had a convenient boarding pass computer in the lobby if you need to print out a boarding pass. Recommend this place!

Room Tip: Street side rooms are a little noisy.

We spent 7 nights at the Holiday Inn Fishermans Wharf, and I am so glad we stayed there.
The location, first of all, was incredible. A couple blocks from the wharf and Pier 39, close to bus stop 30 which goes right across the city, close to Ghirardelli Square, the bus tour, Hollywood Cafe... just perfect.

The front desk staff were great - very helpful to us English people in a new city.

Our room was big - two double beds, which were so comfortable. Honestly the best nights sleep I've had in years. Flat screen TV with local channels (American news is hilarious!), desk, side tables, lounge chair, full length mirror, iron, ironing board, hanging space, safe and fridge.
The bathroom was big too - only 'problem' is that it got really steamy when showering and there was no extraction. We had a rubbish view of the car park, but didn't care because who goes to SF to spend time in their hotel room???

Vending machine in the hallway sold Coke for $1.50. Wifi in the room was a little temperamental but ok most of the time - fine for updating Facebook, using Facetime and emails. We had breakfast downstairs on our last day just for ease, but it was very expensive and not THAT wonderful.

Regardless - if we went back to SF, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Clean, comfy and in the best location.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 4th floor, room 34. Loved it :)

Hotel is situated in the heart of Fisherman's Warf, with shops and restaurants all over. There are multiple bus stops within a block of the hotel that can get you anywhere in the city. The hotel itself is a bit dated but still clean. Rooms are a decent size and beds are comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is parking available on the premise but it is fairly expensive. If you're looking to stay in the Warf, this is the place for you.
