You don’t travel to sit in the hotel. The Marriot Fisherman’s Wharf is extremely close to the waterfront, as the name implies, but is also less than a mile and a half from Chinatown: easy walking. And, to get to Chinatown, one walks through Little Italy, which is also pretty nice.
Rooms were clean, every day, and in my experience, the staff was excellent. Of course, we don’t ask for extras very often and like I said, use hotels essentially as bedrooms and bathrooms only.
In that regard, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was big, clean and had two showerheads, one of which can be used by hand. There was plenty of space on the vanity, too.
One other amenity that especially pleased us was the plenitude of electrical outlets and USB charging ports in the room. Very, very nice.More
