Hotel rate is too expensive compared to the service it provides. It banks mainly on its location. Room service it too slow. They dont change beddings as requested. They simply rearrange them. The staff at the lobby were very helpful though.More
Nice rooms, decent service, a little aged but still good, its location is excellent. Nice shopping nearby, good eating places, a nice tram ride to Fisherman's wharf. Lovely location for a morning walk! All in all a good stay .

Great location and high quality
In the heart of the city, the Marriott Marquis is a great property. The High floor Corner Suites provide fabulous views of the city day and night.
Executive Club Lounge had a particularly nice spread.
Parking your car will set you back $60 or so –guess it’s what you pay for the location location location.
Request a high corner suite for great views.

The hotel location was excellent for a business trip and sightseeing. Clean and well kept. May need a refresher. Nice pool. The only drawback is the week WIFI in the guest rooms. The concierge were very helpful and their suggestions for restaurants were very good.

Stayed here two nights on business and I don't have really anything bad to say at all. The location was great with plenty of restaurants and shopping close. Rooms were very clean and very comfortable. Staff was also positive and very friendly.

Pros:
- location in the downtown
- clean and nice rooms, yet my room on the 31st floor was noisy (some low tone vibration was disturbing)
- breakfast (selection and quality of the food)
- several escalator banks for low/mid/high rise allow prevent long waiting time
- room service
- same day laundry room service
Cons:
- busy due to the size
- restaurant on site is packed usually
Also, mind the automatic bar in the room and water/chips stand is automatic too.
