Was very out dated just a basic room. Wanted to get in and out. The room was clean. The reception area was pretty sketchy. We also requested the shuttle and payed 10$ upfront yet it was 15 mins late picking us up!

I wanted to stay near Fisherman's Wharf, but by the time I got around to looking for a place, most reasonably priced places were booked. America's Cup races were in progress. This was the only place I could find with a room available. It isn't fancy, but we had a great time here. It has a sort-of retro feel to it. The staff were super friendly; the room was clean and the beds were fine. It had a typical free continental breakfast. And parking!!!
It is in easy walking distance to the Wharf and had some interesting places to eat within a block.
I would definitely stay here again.

We stay there between 21 and 25 September. We have pay in advence $250 per night. The room they give us was probably the worst they have, with a window at 2m from a wall, the bed seem don' be made, the sheets was not white but grimy, as were the toals. Two of them had seveúral staines and seemed not be changed...the harmchair as the flor were stained all around.
But the worst were to be comming! The thirth day my husband awoke with more than a dozen of bits by bedbugs! We could see one on the wall!

You could ask why we don't run away from so ugly place... I answer, because we have payed $1093, in advence!!

Well to start with, the price on arrival doubled compared to the quote online via 'booking.com'. My 18yr old daughter and I were too tired and it was too late to look elsewhere for cheaper accommodations. We understood why they charged 4 star prices in the morning though as it was fairly close to Fisherman's Wharf and also very close to shopping and restaurants. The Lombard st bus service took us to The Golden Gate bridge in a jiffy. The room itself had light sensors and came on brightly if one of us had to use the bathroom early in the mornings. The room had coffee making facilities, and reasonable sized bathroom with tub and shower and bathroom ventilation was good. The beds were very comfortable and we had daily linen changes. The room was old though and the carpet looked worn and smelt musty. I left the door open daily to allow as much fresh air into the room as possible. Our 4 day stay ended up costing us $1002.66. They just added all these crazy taxes from an original quote of $437. Would not bother staying here again because of the outrageous pricing. I would stay somewhere cheaper and not so close to the above attractions. Good if money wasn't an issue.

We stopped at this hotel because of the hotel coupon book, but ended up paying more than twice the advertised rate. Although it was more than I was comfortable paying, and quite a bit more Thai paid here a few years ago, parking was included, staff was great and we felt safe to walk around. Fisherman's wharf was just a short walk (6-8 blocks?). Busses were fairly close for the short ride to Chinatown. If I were to go to San Francisco again, I would try and book ahead to negotiate a better rate. Breakfast room was crowded, but it was a good start to the day.

Room Tip: Avoid last minute (drop in) booking to get a better rate?

This was the most reasonable hotel we could find with free parking and a decent location. It was great. Very helpful front desk staff. Super location. Felt very safe to walk the neighborhood in the evening. Walked about 2 blocks to catch the bus to Fisherman's Wharf and Chinatown. Had the last room on the bottom floor tucked behind the stairs. Could not hear Lombard Street noise at night.

We stayed here for one night. There was free Wifi, but it was so slow that we gave up on it. The towels were cheap and old. The toilet seats had paint chipping off and were wobbly (and we're pretty small people).

On the plus side, it was clean, the management was friendly, and the location was fabulous. It also included amenities such as fridge, microwave, iron, hairdryer.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the 2nd or 3rd floors as the parking spots are right in front of the ground flo...
