Positive:
People at the desk were friendly and helpful. Our guests were allowed to park temporarily. Late checkout approved.
25 minute walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf. Good area for shopping too.
Nice sink area and shower.
Beds were good.
Microwave.

Negative:
Overall run down.
Lots of road noise. Of course, this isn’t the motel’s fault.
Wifi didn’t work. Had to use Ethernet cable. [Not functional for those in our group with other devices.]
No breakfast.
TV is like 25 years old. Poor picture.
Frig didn’t really work because freezer part sorely needed defrosting.
No closet. Clothes hang up next to sink.

Tip:
Little tour: Go to beginning of Powell-Mason cable car line. [Avoid beginning of Powell-Hyde line, as there may be big line.] Buy day pass. Take it to end on Market. Walk over to Ferry Building. [If you have lots of time, take ferry to Sausalito for a couple hours.] Then take California line cable car to China Town. Then take either Powell line to Fisherman’s Wharf. Eat at Castagnolas. A cup of chowder is only $6 and comes with sourdough bread fresh from the oven! And this is a nice restaurant on the water. [Chowder at the cheap stalls is $5.]

Was very out dated just a basic room. Wanted to get in and out. The room was clean. The reception area was pretty sketchy. We also requested the shuttle and payed 10$ upfront yet it was 15 mins late picking us up!

I wanted to stay near Fisherman's Wharf, but by the time I got around to looking for a place, most reasonably priced places were booked. America's Cup races were in progress. This was the only place I could find with a room available. It isn't fancy, but we had a great time here. It has a sort-of retro feel to it. The staff were super friendly; the room was clean and the beds were fine. It had a typical free continental breakfast. And parking!!!
It is in easy walking distance to the Wharf and had some interesting places to eat within a block.
I would definitely stay here again.

We stay there between 21 and 25 September. We have pay in advence $250 per night. The room they give us was probably the worst they have, with a window at 2m from a wall, the bed seem don' be made, the sheets was not white but grimy, as were the toals. Two of them had seveúral staines and seemed not be changed...the harmchair as the flor were stained all around.
But the worst were to be comming! The thirth day my husband awoke with more than a dozen of bits by bedbugs! We could see one on the wall!

You could ask why we don't run away from so ugly place... I answer, because we have payed $1093, in advence!!

Well to start with, the price on arrival doubled compared to the quote online via 'booking.com'. My 18yr old daughter and I were too tired and it was too late to look elsewhere for cheaper accommodations. We understood why they charged 4 star prices in the morning though as it was fairly close to Fisherman's Wharf and also very close to shopping and restaurants. The Lombard st bus service took us to The Golden Gate bridge in a jiffy. The room itself had light sensors and came on brightly if one of us had to use the bathroom early in the mornings. The room had coffee making facilities, and reasonable sized bathroom with tub and shower and bathroom ventilation was good. The beds were very comfortable and we had daily linen changes. The room was old though and the carpet looked worn and smelt musty. I left the door open daily to allow as much fresh air into the room as possible. Our 4 day stay ended up costing us $1002.66. They just added all these crazy taxes from an original quote of $437. Would not bother staying here again because of the outrageous pricing. I would stay somewhere cheaper and not so close to the above attractions. Good if money wasn't an issue.
