Stayed at the Triton for 2 days as part of a quick SF getaway. Have stayed in multiple hotels in SF in the past and this one is definitely unique. Location is just outside the Chinatown gates and the BigBus makes a stop right in front, very convenient.
Staff is very friendly and accomodating. The lobby coffee and afternoon wine hour is a very nice touch. the lounge area is a wee bit small, but was filled with families socializing.
Our room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and very unique. Wallpaper with writings from "On the Road" adorned the walls and there was a cool chalkboard as well. yes it was small, but totally cozy.
Free wifi was a big plus. the valet parking did give me sticker shock..would have been nice to know prior to booking.
Great restaurant for breakfast located on the corner.
In summary, great hotel with character and very friendly staff. would definitely stay here again.
