Description: We are a destination where good things gather: locally-sourced seasonal ingredients, west coast freshness and time-honored southern recipes from the Creoles to the Carolinas, artful and seasonally celebrated cocktails that blend well with fresh beats. All come together to define modern Americana cuisine. With an ambience that mixes true southern providence and generosity of spirit with the heart of San Francisco, you feel native in an instant — welcomed as a member of the family.

We only came here due to a chance conversation with a chap at the poolside bar in Vegas, but I'm so happy We had it recommended to us!
The place looks good, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was excellent!
Little touches like the jars the drinks are served in and the cucumber water for the table made it all worthwhile coming in.
Highly recommend a visit!!

Thank Wellend

I didn't expect walking into a restaurant named Farmerbrown to have a DJ playing and funky artwork on the walls, but it was a welcome thing for this funky place. The bar and dining room were crowded and full of great energy. The bar service was a bit lacking but they were busy and hustling. I tried multiple items and left feeling good about all of them! The fried chicken was the highlight with a great crispy skin and juicy goodness. The watermelon napoleon was also fresh and well put together.

Ribs. Eat them. Kicked anything we have in UK out of the park..so to speak. Good service at bar and great cocktails. A bit of a slow wait for table but couldn't fault the waiter once we sat. Reasonable price but fab wine from CA (Deaclier or something like that). Did I mention the ribs...yummmmy

We had a fun relaxed night at Farmerbrown. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the drinks were great. The strawberry butter with the corn bread was super yummy. I thought the corn bread was suppose to be biscuits, but oh well. I had the meatloaf and really liked it. I wish it came with more veg. Everyone else had the fried chicken and loved it. They were out of a lot of wines on the menu

Went with a few friends last weekend and found the food to be fresh, delicious and soulful!

We started at the bar as we had arrived about a half hour before our reservation. No problem here as they are preparing wonderful, original, drinks. The Indigo punch with
cucumber vodka, blackberry juice, pavan muscat liqueur, apple cider, tumeric nectar, lemon, peychaud's bitters, tonic in a Mason Jar was really tasty, refreshing and fun!

We were seated on time by friendly staff in a comfortable corner of the restaurant. Our waiter was attentive and made appropriate recommendations.

Our group of 6 shared several appetizers, including the gumbo and smoked salmon croquettes (which were the table favorite).

I had the bbq ribs as an entree with mac and cheese and they were fall-off-the-bone delicious.
I also had samples of the fried chicken and catfish. Both were perfectly fried, juicy and tender.

The food is heavy but that's to be expected! Come with an appetite and prepare to leave content and satisfied.

I'll be going back soon for my own order of the fried chicken dinner and more mac and cheese!
