Description: We are a destination where good things gather: locally-sourced seasonal ingredients, west coast freshness and time-honored southern recipes from the Creoles to the Carolinas, artful and seasonally celebrated cocktails that blend well with fresh beats. All come together to define modern Americana cuisine. With an ambience that mixes true southern providence and generosity of spirit with the heart of San Francisco, you feel native in an instant — welcomed as a member of the family.

Fell upon this place after recognising the name from our lonely planet guide book. It doesn't look much from the outside, but we decided to give it a go and we are so glad we did. It was out 4th night in San Fran and by far our best meal. I had the sausag and chicken jambalaya which was like a Cajun flavoured rice dish with peppers....it was delicious. Hubby had baby back ribs, which he says were the nicest he's ever had (and trust me he's eaten a lot of ribs!)
We both had gorgeous cocktails served in rustic 16oz containers, blackberry moonshine and farmhouse lemonade.
Service great, food great, ambience great, by far the best meal we've had in San Fran! Upset we didn't discover it earlier as we most certainly would have been back for a second visit.

The worst food we had in the US during our 18 days trip. Our hot appetizer was served almost cold. Waiting for hours for the wine.
Bad service and not worth the money for the food they served us.

Brunch buffet was loaded with delicious comfort foods - very satisfying. Not a place for a healthy breakfast unless you count the cucumber water. I'd definitely come back.

Dropped by for brunch and had the cornmeal pancakes, an oddly addictive mix of savoury and sweet. The coffee tasted weird though - and not in a good way. Kind of oily? Service was curt. The food is great though so if you don't mind bad coffee and mediocre service, give it a try.

We only came here due to a chance conversation with a chap at the poolside bar in Vegas, but I'm so happy We had it recommended to us!
The place looks good, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was excellent!
Little touches like the jars the drinks are served in and the cucumber water for the table made it all worthwhile coming in.
Highly recommend a visit!!

Thank Wellend
