“Saipan: Paradise in the Pacific”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 February 2006

Saipan is a GREAT island to visit. If you're looking for a nice, tropical place with great scenic areas, Saipan is definitely it. If you're looking to get away from the cold temperature that winter brings, Saipan is definitely the place to be, because it maintains a "warm" temperature all-year round.

Saipan has great beaches. There are many to choose from, and each has its ups and downs. There are many places on island that are too beautiful for words to describe. There are also many historical places to visit. There is a village on island that is full of things that were around in WW2. There are two museums on island; one focuses on the overall history of the island, and the other is spefically for WW2. There is a National Park on island called American Memorial Park.

If you are coming here with a family, there is a lot to do. There is snorkeling, scuba diving, skydiving, and hiking, among other things.

There are many hotels to choose from, and each of them has its ups and downs. If you are looking for an all-around great package, I suggest you check out PIC (Pacific Islands Club).

Saipan is a very tourist-friendly island, with many car and moped rental services and tourist maps in all languages found all over the island. There are also many tour services, for those who prefer a guided tour of the island. I recommend going around the island by yourself, though. There is just a certain feeling of excitement when you explore the island on your own.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Or, if you want pictures before you decide, let me know and I will send some your way. I've included a few here, but this is not even 10% of all the beauty that Saipan has to offer.
