“Off the Beaten Path”
Reviewed 18 October 2012

This was off the beaten path and didn't look like very many people visited. It was well preserved and a great find for the Civil War buff. I only wish we could get to the big rock in the yard to read the bronze plate inscription.

“Should be the required first stop for Harpers Ferry tours”
Reviewed 15 October 2012

A terribly underfunded ( privately by locals) historical site, the farm remains an important site to understand the gathering storm of Civil War. Follow the road to Harpers Ferry and think about a small group of men attempting to bring on a rebellion.
Kennedy Farm is just as plain and unassuming as it was in 1859, that is the appeal for me.
