Our family stayed here for 3 nights, and camped in a tent. We were in spot 31, which was nicely sized for our larger tent with plenty of extra space. The spot was all sand, so nice for sleeping, but bring a broom to sweep out the tent! The bathroom and showers were clean and overall the campground was well maintained. This place is ideal if you want to be close to downtown as there is nothing to do at the campground itself, but with everything there is to do in the Apostle Islands this works out well. The other guests at the campground all respected the quiet hours from 10-8, so it was pleasant for sleeping. Overall a basic, clean and quiet place to camp while enjoying the beauty of the Apostle Islands.
