Definitely a must see if you are in the Harpers Ferry area. The host was fun to walk with and the stories were really good. He also nailed the explanations of the different types of ghost sightings. Not every tour goes that in depth.

We read reviews that were disappointed that it was more historical tour than ghost tour. We ended up being disappointed that it was more ghost tour than historical tour. The historical insights were wonderful, particularly the history of the gun works. We wanted to do the historical tour, but it did not work into our schedule, and did the ghost tour as an alternative. Rick is very knowledgeable and is obviously well known around town. It is well worth the price and time spent.

We recently took a ghost tour with Rick Garland in Harpers Ferry.
He is an excellent story teller, funny, accommodating, knowledgeable about history and the tour was a lot of fun.
If you are in this area I would highly recommend taking this tour.

Highly recommend taking this tour for anyone of age. Rick is delightful to
Listen to and learn more about Harper's Ferry. Traveled from Baltimore for a 6pm walking tour. Great day/evening trip.

Rick is a living historian and a great one at that. We're going to return and do the day time tour with him. His knowledge was great and his personality was fun and outgoing.
