Stayed here over the weekend and combined the stay with a guided fishing trip. Both the Inn and fishing were excellent! Rooms are clean, the hostess was very generous, breakfast was warm and delicious. Cookies and tea / sodas at night in the parlor were a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. The fishing trip was awesome as well - it was a great day on the river with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Would definitely come back.

Anglers is a lovely B&B located in Bolivar, WV, walking distance to Harpers Ferry lower town. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the hostess gracious and well informed about the area. The cookies and drinks available in the parlor room were a welcome sight after a day of sightseeing and driving. We'll be back.

We recently spent 3 nights and really enjoyed this B&B. I'm not much of breakfast person but Deb had me eating every single morning with her mouthwatering spiced bacon, date bread, and her made to order omelets. Who can say no to spiced bacon? We saved money on our stay because we never had to buy lunch after eating Deb's great breakfasts. Our room, The McKenzie Room, was large and had two private entrances that allowed us to come and go without notice. I loved the swing on the front porch overlooking the street and our own little private sitting area on the back porch. The inn was quiet at night and even though we were right off the dining room, we were never disturbed by the other guests or staff until 8:30am when breakfast service started. The Angler's Inn was a wonderful & comfortable retreat to return to after a long day of walking and hiking around the area. Deb was even kind enough to continue her great service by mailing me something that I had left behind.

My husband and I stated at this B&B for 2 nights and wish it had been longer! Our hostess was wonderful, down to earth and a wealth of information. My husband and I have stayed at many B&Bs here in this country and in Europe, The Anglers Inn is the cleanest to date. The chocolate chips cookies are tasty and the breakfast was out of this world. Make sure you try the spiced bacon, that I will be making at home and will remember a real sweet lady and her hospitality! Five stars all the way!

This was one of the best B & B's that I have stayed in. I was traveling with a friend (girl trip) and we were both very pleased with our room. There was a queen sized bed and in a smaller, adjoining room was a day bed - both very comfortable. The inn was immaculate! Our private bathroom, across the hall, was more than sufficient. Breakfast was delicious (spiced bacon was incredible) and we enjoyed visiting with the other guests as we all sat around the dining room table. Unfortunately, the owners were not available - I would have enjoyed meeting the hosts. I would, certainly, return to this facility.

Thank you for choosing the Angler’s Inn for your stay in Harpers Ferry! We're delighted you enjoyed yourselves and look forward to the opportunity to meet you next time you visit! We are truly fortunate to have a wonderful Hospitality Staff to continue serving guests when we take a day off or vacation once in a while. Glad you got to try the Spiced Bacon, a 17 year tradition of ‘YUM’ at the Angler’s Inn.

We arrived in Harpers Ferry a bit earlier than expected. Our key with explicit instructions and information were waiting for us on the entrance table. The house was immaculate. The dining room had coffee waiting if we wanted it, and the living room was stocked with soda, cookies, and other goodies.

Our rooms were beautiful, clean, and welcoming. We had a private bath across the hall. There were many pamphlets about the area for us to peruse.

In the dining room was a menu board for the morning, stipulating that if there was a dietary concern, they would be most happy to oblige- just let them know. The breakfast was truly gourmet. We had cheese blintzes with fresh fruit and spiced bacon-yum! Coconut chocolate chip. muffins also waited for us.
We had a delightful stay and would gladly return and recommend to others.

Room Tip: We had adjoining rooms, one with a queen and one with a day bed.

It was such a pleasure to return to The Angler's Inn B & E in mid-June, and to bring my husband to enjoy the ambiance and relaxation that is so much a part of this wonderful place. While I was awakened to the smell of one of Debbi's delectable morning treats, my husband enjoyed the peace and quiet of our room on the second floor, with a private bath, and small porch, as well as the front porch with rockers for catching up on reading and crossword puzzles in the afternoon. Once my work day ended at Mather, we enjoyed going into town for dinner, and to Shepherdstown for a great evening before leaving on the 19th. We will come again, as it is such a rare treat to fine two great people and a wonderful setting to make you welcome to come "home again"!

Room Tip: The second floor suite is very nice and spacious, with a private bath, and porch area.
