It's just a little hole in the wall place, but they have great prices and really good food. They are located across from the middle school, so parking during the school year may be of a problem in the morning and afternoon. They're open from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Thank Kim S

Nothing special. Old store building in Bolivar actually. Not bad, not great, just ok. We looked at The Anvil and The Canal House and picked this place as there were many more cars in the parking lot. This is usually a good indicator. If it was then the other two spots must be pretty bad.

Got off route 340 in Harper's Ferry for lunch. Before going down the hill into town this place appeared on the left. Ordered egg salad sandwich on toasted whole wheat with lettuce and tomato. Excellent!
It is a small place, maybe ten tables. Friendly staff and good service. The whole experience made me think how lucky we are to some of these independent non-fast food places left. SOOO much better the the run of the mill chain places.

This place literally makes you feel right at home. I was upset they didnt have sausage gravy that particular day but they normally do. We had eggs and fresh juice!

The Country Cafe is a must stop for us when traveling to and from the Shenandoah Valley. The food is great. There are yummy calorie laden breakfasts i.e. Chipped beef gravy on biscuits and Pancakes, French toast. All of which are very good. BUT, my favorite is the veggie omelet which is made with fresh vegetables and it is excellent! I agree with the other reviewer the home fried potatoes are good.
Lunch is yummy as well. Egg salad is fresh and homemade. Stop in and give it a try!
