Cell phone service sucks, had to drive into town to get phone service, the internet service was horrible, the internet access from both access points that was available, would come up for a short time then disappear for a short time and with slow access pages wouldn't load before it went down then would error because there was no internet access. So forget internet at this location. The breakfast was very Spartan, with our activities planned for our 2 night, 3 day stay it was better to go to Denny's next door. Which we did for 2 mornings. Denny's treated us very well. TV the channel guide in room didn't match what was there, I was looking forward to a movie on cable for a channel that didn't exist and I channeled up one channel at a time to find it.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have influence on what phone service works in Moab. As locals, we have found Verizone phone service has the best coverage in the area. AT&T and T-Mobile have spotty service in Southern Utah. Thank you.

We won't go back until the management demonstrates that they care about their guests by fixing the exterior door locks. None of the exterior door locks function (despite the large signs stating the need to use a key for entrance). I was told by locals that the locks have gone unrepaired FOR YEARS. This tells me the management doesn't care. There are some pretty dark areas at the end of the building and the presence of the Denny's next door gives loiterers pretty good cover.

My daughters (17 and 21) were followed/stalked through the hallways on their way back from the hot tub to our room by a man who may or may not have been a guest at the motel. He followed them and then blocked their way back down the hallways on two different floors. Fortunately, they found a group of elderly people including an off-duty or retired US Marshall who escorted them back to their room.

Our recent trip to the Super * in Moab, Utah was at least the second time we have stayed at the motel. In between we have stayed at other properties when visiting there based primarily on pricing and availability. We found the newly renovated rooms to be nice and priced at what you would expect for the location and the type of motel. However, as noted above there are some pretty clear indications that the management is concerned about cutting costs to the detriment of their guests.

The staff, with whom I had multiple interactions as a result of the event described above were nice enough, but didn't threaten to cast a shadow on professional. All complained about low wages (and they appeared out to prove the adage that you get what you pay for.)

Stayed 10/10/12 Check in person was great, process was quick and easy. The room was basic but clean and the beds were comfortable, had a refrigerator and mIcrowave, the floor no longer has carpet but for an area with outdoor activities it is probably better that dirty carpets. Most of the outside noise was from the other guests in the hallways. It was a little pricey for the room but if you look at the rates of some of the other hotels in the area it was more affordable. The breakfast was very basic, but Dennys is in the same parking lot. Moab is getting to expensive to stay in a hotel any more so may bypass staying there. If you want a room that is under $100.00 but still clean and comfortable this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: we had room 207 it was fine.

Stayed 3 nights. The employees were friendly and room was decent; we didn't need luxury, just a place to shower and rest our heads. i recommend requesting the 2nd floor, or you'll hear every step your upstairs neighbor makes. The morning breakfast is a joke!!!! Probably won't stay here on our next visit.

Room Tip: get a room on the second floor.
