This unit is conveniently located in Moab and is tasteful. It is about a mile walk to the local restaurants which is great unless it’s hot out. The unit’s hot tub, jacuzzi master tub, and the games in the cupboard are the best things about this unit. There is also a very nice tv downstairs.
The construction of these condos is questionable at best. The shower in the master was not plumbed correctly and was not functioning. The slider to the hot tub/patio was built with vinyl which warped in the burning Utah sun. It takes two to get it locked and is hard to open/close as well. Definitely not for seniors or children and is not an emergency exit.
Some sites list this unit as high tech, fast WiFi, and 4 HDTVs. This is not accurate. The WiFi is weak on the second floor limiting access to those TVs. If you happen to vacation here in the heat of summer, a cool break midday with the tv is in order before the evening hike. The master Bedroom TV had a short and didn’t work for half our stay. The tv was screwed into a piece of furniture which prevented us from using our Firestick once it was repaired and working.
We had a party of 8 and did quite a bit of cooking. The kitchen is not equipped like a gourmet/high end kitchen and took some improvising. There was not a large frying pan, coffee grinder, garlic press, and just one large serving bowl. There were ways to improvise like use 2 small fry pans. The cookware is quite worn. The knives are dull without a sharpener on site. Not a big deal and we still had great meals but definitely not equipped as advertised.
The jacuzzi tub and dishes were dirty upon arrival. We did learn of the shortage or workers in Moab due to high cost for rental homes. Those that are there work just to live and are not making enough to actually eat too. So we felt awful for even thinking of complaining. As a result, when we did mention things broken in the unit, it took 4
Calls and 3 days for a response. We ended up being moved early to another unit which suited us much better. We were told we would hear from management to try to make this right. That never happened.
