“Enjoyable stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 June 2014

We stayed two nights at Adobe Abode in the Buffalo room. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower was good. The breakfasts in the morning were good, waffles and fruit one day and egg/ham cups, fruit and muffins the other day. We were given good restaurant recommendations and advice on what to do. The location was away from the main road but very close to town. We would definitely return!

We were in town for an off-road rally and chose to stay in a bed and breakfast to avoid being in the main hotel strip area. The property is maintained well and has a beautiful view.

Fairly significant issue with respect to the noise in the mornings. We were courteous and did not make a great deal of noise at night even though we were up rather late, however the making of breakfast in the morning sounded like a kitchen remodel was taking place and made it absolutely impossible to continue any sort of sleep. This began at 7:00am. The breakfast made as a result of this noise was nothing like what I would consider "special" and we chose to eat elsewhere.

We were also not informed of the formal check-out process

Room Tip: Stay very clear of the Asian room!

A unique B&B - in Moab, but right on the outskirts, with the Colorado just round the corner. So it feels like you're in the wilds, but the shops and restaurants of Moab are just a couple of minutes drive away. The rooms are individually decorated (see their website to get the idea), with suspended chairs outside to sit and chill. There are large, open guest areas, with TV, pool table, hot-tub, and a complimentary supply of wine and beer. The owners were not much in evidence during our stay (apart from when checking in), and this combined with the large open areas gave the whole place a very relaxed feel. It's easy to imagine that if you wanted a day off from hiking around the nearby National Parks, this would be a nice comfy place to hang out. Oh, and a chef comes in each morning to cook a lovely breakfast. Can't wait to go back!

We spent four nights at this wonderful bed and breakfast in April 2014. It is conveniently located to Arches National Park (10 mins away) and only a few minutes away from the shops and restaurants of Moab. Close enough to town yet away from the downtown noise. Adode Abode is stylish and quicky (with a mix of south-western USA and Indian decor). When staying here you really feel you are in wild west. The owner Keith, is an artist and many of his creative and wonderful metalworks are throughout the house. This is a roomy place to stay with a large common-area for all guests to share, yet there are private verandahs to escape to. In the mornings, we were greeted by Sean who prepeared creative and delicious breakfasts and pleasant and friendly conversation. The staff at the house (who had their own quarters), were unobtrusive yet available if needed.
We would certainly stay here again, and in fact we would rate Adode Abode as one of the nicest B&B's we have experienced. For example the complimentary water and beer was a very nice touch.
The only slight criticism would be that their internet/WIFI service is patchy. Perhaps investing in a few more modems and placing them at various ends of the house would help.

My girlfriend and I arrived for Labor Day Weekend 2013 and were very impressed with the place. The owners were very nice and didn't mind having a friendly conversation with us. The interior and exterior of the home was very well kept and clean in all respects. We were allowed to take drinks from the fridge and chill out. There was a pool table and comfy places to sit and read or watch television. Breakfast the next day was pretty good and the chef was very nice. We will definitely go back and would recommend Adobe Abode to anyone visiting Moab, Utah. Yay!!

We stayed at Adobe Abode this fall. The experience fell short of our expectations and short of the type of service we have come to expect from small independent accommodations. We frequent bed and breakfasts when we travel because of the one-on-one experience and excellent, personal service usually provided. Our experience at Adobe Abode was far from excellent and the customer service was lacking.

We were traveling a great distance on the day we arrived and were unsure of our arrival time - an inconvenience for the manager. She informed me that people never arrive at the Adobe Abode so late. When I apologized for the inconvenience and offered to have her just leave a key so she could retire for the evening, she said that was not possible for security reasons. After multiple calls she finally offered to leave the keys under a mat. Her directions and poor lighting of the building made it extremely challenging to find our way to our room in the dark. In fact, upon our early departure (Monday morning) another guest was fumbling around trying to find his way to his room and ended up at our private suite door looking for guidance (which, although startled, we provided). Once in the room we had to de-spider the entire suite. There were large spiders in the shower, bathroom, bedroom and closet (nine altogether) before we could actually bring in our bags and get some rest.

The following morning we were served a simple meal of french toast with what looked like corn flakes on top and sliced watermelon (and cold cereal as an option). Not sure what the website is referring to as it claims "southwest inspired dishes that are sure to give you the morning energy boost you are looking for". When we asked about the breakfast sausage we could smell had been cooked that morning we were told it was "past its prime" and would not be included in the meal-just the french toast.

Due to the distance we had to travel each day, we needed to leave around 6 on our departure date. We asked the day prior to checking out if we could have a simple warm breakfast before we left. We were told that was simply not possible and that cold cereal was available with milk in the fridge. We offered to make it ourselves or even just have it prepared the evening before so we could throw it in the microwave and warm it up as we left - still neither were possible according to the manager. A simple egg sandwich would have been very appreciated and certainly not that far beyond the realm of what we should have expected for $315 dollars for two nights that we paid. We stayed at the bed and "breakfast" so we could have nice warm home-cooked meals while we were traveling. What a disappointment-especially for the price.

Room Tip: The room we stayed in was on the ground floor with its own exterior door. There are other rooms with...

We spent a week at the Adobe Abode B & B. We had a wonderful time there. The place is very nice and we enjoyed their delicious breakfasts. We also enjoyed chatting with other guest from Europe and the U.S. We enjoyed our time in Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park while we were there. We were there from 9/7 - 9/13
