This is a great spot if you are looking for more than just a place to crash. We were quite comfortable and enjoyed the relaxation of this retreat after hiking at arches and canyonlands. The patio is lovely, with flowers that attracted hummingbirds and a wonderful view, a little table and chairs to sip your morning coffee or read a book.
It is a bit out of the center of town- a 20ish minute trip, but that didn't really bother us. My only complaint- a beautiful huge window off the main space (living and bedroom). Provides a great view of the canyon, but will also get you up as soon as the sun comes up with the light streaming in and doesnt feel private enough from the main living quarters. Other than that, everything was great, bed was comfortable, hosts were very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.
Grand View is so beautiful and peaceful....I spent many hours sitting outside and taking in the views! It's close enough to the center of town for convenience, but far enough for peace and quiet...the trails nearby are a bonus! Cindy and Bruce (owners) are very helpful and know a lot about restaurants and activities in the area...truly wonderful people. We will stay again on our next visit to Moab!
