“Regal Treatment for Weary Travelers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

The Aarchway is a beautiful inn that is well cared for by some very hard working nice people.
One delightful lady named Helen made breakfast and charmed us with her movie star personality.
I would hope that all our lodging on this trip could be so nice.
If you are coming to Moab this is the place to make your temporary home. We are just a couple of tourists with 2000 miles down and 4000 to go.

Wow what amazing detail and comfort! And it should be a LAW that all hotels/motels have playgrounds. What a great, great plus for kids that need to run and jump and BE LOUD after being in cars for hours. The details in this hotel were amazing. Great furniture in rooms, decorations, even the little metal grates over the ac units. Just so many little touches that made this place unique and very comfy. We felt like we could live there. Too bad we were there for just one night. Play ground was AWESOME. Breakfast AWESOME. Pool AWESOME. My only complaint is that we were at the far end of a hall and it took a long time to get hot water to our room. But the bathroom and everything were immaculate. LOVED IT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Can't say enough good things. An older, but very, very, very well cared for hotel that really CARE about the comfort of the traveler. THANK YOU!

We are so excited to hear that you and your family experienced an enjoyable stay. We strive in all departments to ensure that each guest feels as though they are apart of our family and have a positive time here. We do however apologize that the hot water took some time to get to your room, we have investigated the issue and has since been repaired. We hope that next time you are in Moab, Aarchway Inn is your destination hotel.

The Aarchway Inn is a pleasant hotel right on the outskirts of downtown Moab. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and the free breakfast is a huge bonus! We will stay here again on our next trip to Moab.

Our one night stay was wonderful, from the platter of cookies at the front desk when we checked in to the very ample breakfast just before we left. Helen Hayes and the man putting out the food were terrific...with a big crowd they manage to keep tables cleaned up, and hot food coming very speedily. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it would be a welcome treat at the end of a day of hiking and sightseeing. We forgot to ask for AAA discount when we checked into our 3 rooms, but when we inquired a few hours later, our rate was adjusted with no problems. Very accommodating staff.
Takes a while to adjust to the room pattern, with some going up and down short flights of stairs to find the level you are on.

Thank you for the wonderful compliments regarding our staff and your recent stay. Helen and Ken are definitely a dynamic duo in the breakfast room. We are fortunate to have great employees and we are all very happy that you had a good time and enjoyed the hotel. I agree - the levels are confusing. We just had the elevators installed and we do have new directionals on order. They will be placed on every floor to help guide everyone to where they want to be. Hopefully it will be less confusing. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your comments and we hope you visit Moab again soon and once again, choose to stay with us.

You really can't beat this hotel in Moab. It's inexpensive, clean, modern, and the amenities are very extensive. There's a pool, hot tub, basketball court, horseshoe pit, fire pit, playground for kids, grills, guest laundry, and a gym. The gym has free weights in addition to treadmills, and the breakfast in the morning includes eggs, sausage, potatoes, and pancakes in addition to the usual continental stuff. I rarely give 5 star ratings, but this place really has everything you could want in a hotel and more at a very reasonable price.

None of the hotels in Moab were cheap, but we were happy with what we paid in the end as it was a good hotel. The check-in staff even made the effort to ensure we had a good view when I told them we were from Australia and my husband was a photographer (and liked to take sunrise shots from the room if the view was worth it).

The room was large and comfortable and we had the basic kitchen equipment to self cater snacks as needed (microwave, fridge, coffee maker). The free breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice (I have never seen a pancake machine quite like this one, but they were yummy pancakes and mess-free). There is a laundry room with coin operated machines, which is very handy if you've been travelling and hiking for a while. We didn't try the pool, but plenty of people did and seemed to enjoy it!

Being at the north end of the main road through Moab, it was very easy to get in and out of town, but it did mean you have to drive to pretty much any dining option in town so just be aware of that.

Room Tip: Ask for a view, and they'll try and give you something to look at other than the car park.

We were traveling from Bryce National Park to Arches with an uncertain schedule so I did not book ahead. Due to the Jeep Safari, the town was booked so we were glad to find a room. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We thought the breakfast was great. Staff was helpful and gave us ideas of what to see. The hotel is convenient to Arches. I was just a bit surprised to have to pay 3X more than any place else during our 3 weeks of travels. Probably hitting "in season" rates in this popular destination.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with such a positive review. Jeep Safari, while very busy, is a wonderful time to experience Moab. I do want to take this opportunity to let you know that while event weeks and our busy season do command a higher rate, our rates are always extremely competitive year round with comparable lodging in Moab. During the off season (Nov-Feb) Moab weather can still be perfect for hiking and biking. It is a great time for last minute reservations, taking advantage of great weather, promotions and all around lower rates. We hope you have an opportunity to visit us again soon.
