We were in a very large room where you can easily have 5 people. Very good service. Nice staff. You also have a laundry convenient when you are on a long trip. Not expensive laundry.
Very good location close to Arches National Park and North Canyonlands.
In the center of Moab so you can walk for diner.
Close to a supermarket where you can find all you need for your picnic before hiking in the parks. You have a fridge, microwave...
Pool ok.

My family loved the Gonzo Inn. The decor is really fun and everything felt new and clean. The staff were very accommodating - they let us keep our car parked in the parking lot and stored our luggage for two days after we checked out while we were on a camping trip. They had a great breakfast and coffee too.

We have been to Moab several times and have always stayed at a national hotel chain. This year the place I wanted was booked for our dates so I had to look elsewhere for rooms. AND I'M GLAD I DID!!!!
Gonzo is a relatively small, privately owned hotel. The rooms all have either a balcony or patio, which is great for enjoying a lovely, quiet evening after a full day of activities in the Moab area. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, but sits back off the main drag which makes it more private. The outdoor pool is lovely with music playing quietly in the background. There is also a hot tub for quests to enjoy. Because the hotel is smaller the pool was never chock full of people which made for a pleasant swim.
We had booked two rooms as we were traveling with family. Both rooms were very nice; freshly painted and clean. The windows have roll down black out shades for night and roll down screens for day to lessen the intensity of the sun. The sink is separate from the toilet and shower, which is nice so two people can be getting ready at the same time. The shower is absolutely huge!!! And there was plenty of hot water. I prefer a tub, but even so enjoyed the shower. Each room had a table and two chairs so you didn't have to sit on the bed all the time. We had a microwave, refrigerator and a coffee pot in the room. The best thing about the room though was the bed. It was so comfy and with the blackout shades, I never wanted to get up and leave the room! The linens were fresh and crisp and clean. So inviting after a long day rafting or hiking. The TV even had a DVD player, which is great for entertaining kids.
A continental breakfast comes as part of the room package. The dining area was always neat and clean. There is a patio for al fresco breakfasts as well. We ate outside in the cool, fresh morning air every day we were there. Breakfast consisted of biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs, make your own waffles, fresh fruit, toast, sweet rolls, yogurt and cereal. There are enough choices that everyone can find something. Plus you can order cappuccino's for an additional fee. Each afternoon the hotel has fresh cookies and fruit flavored water in the lobby.
The hotel describes itself as having a southwest flair with a touch of 70's and industrial design. That pretty much describes it, but I just all it Southwest Kitsch, and we loved it.
We liked the hotel so much that we just can't say enough good things about it. It is DEFINITELY worth the price (which by the way was cheaper than other places I found in Moab!). I wish I were back there right now and can't wait to return.

Gonzo was great and could have been a let down after Montage, but it wasn't. The room was large and clean and best of all the bed and linen was just fantastic. The breakfast was extremely fresh and healthy, lots of fresh fruit salad, fruit juice and yogurts. It was nice to get a cup of tea after quite a wait (I mean it being difficult sometimes to find a nice cup of tea). All in all we were very happy with this hotel, quirky design, wonderful gardens and great pool. All the staff were friendly and helpful, it can't be faulted!

Room Tip: We liked our first floor room at the back of the hotel.

Stayed here after our visit to arches. Rooms were really nice but overall it was pricey for what we got. Customer service wasn't the greatest. I think next time we will probably look for a better value.

We loved staying at the Gonzo. The room was very nice - clean, spacious, and even had a DVD player in the "living room". The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Moab.

Stumbled upon The Gonzo Inn, so glad I did. Traveling with 3 dogs in a Sprinter, just wanted a place to chill and clean the van out etc. The Gonzo Inn, is PERFECT! Nice rooms, funky and basic, great bed and sheets! Pet friendly, the hotel clerk was extremely helpful and offered room 120, which has it's own patio for the dogs to go inside and out, while you're relaxing. Reasonably priced, super convenient location but not right on the main street, laundry area, free wifi w/out a password and free delicious breakfast. Good starting point, pre hike or pre adventure and good ending point after a long drive! Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Room 120 is great if you have dogs and/or have laundry to do or alot of "stuff" in your ca...
