“VERY CROWDED SPACES”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014 via mobile

Ladies that took reservations & checked us in we're very helpful & polite. Regular Spaces were level & some shaded with trees but quite short. Roads in between rows are crowded with parked cars & ATV's because there is little/no space to park in individual spaces. Park seems to cater to ATV'ers but all seemed to follow park rules about driving them within the RV park. There is a. " premium" space area for about $10 more. May be worth it for space, views, access, & quiet.
This park is a good location for sightseeing at Dead Horse Point SP, Canyonland island In The Sky & Arches NP.

We stayed here for two nights in an RV and enjoyed the lovely setting with views of the rocks and into Arches National Park. We didn't have any issues with staff or check-in which some people have reported, all very straightforward and they even called an activity centre for us as we couldn't get through on our UK mobiles.
Showers were ok, not the best we found but personally I never expect too much luxury while camping! Nice setting for exploring Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, both very close.

We came to Moab at the last minute with our travel trailer. We didn't have reservations and understandably they were full. We did the dry camping bit and felt very safe there. They said we could use the showers but couldn't get it....too many people. The staff were a little unfriendly but you can't beat the cost or the view.
I probably wouldn't stay here again, the sites were really crowded and there are nicer places to stay for the same money that is more accessible with better amenities.

We stayed a week with family in March and from the minute we checked in the staff was nothing but rude.Check in was the slowest we've experienced. The pool is empty covered in rusty metal slats, community fire pit only, and it is all dirt RV campground.Minimal amenities. No early check ins!!!8 miles from town.

This place is terrible. Horrible customer service. Employees are all grumpy and got angry with us for hanging towels on a tree to dry. Showers are ice cold and the water all tastes like dirt. Highway noise makes it nearly impossible to sleep in a tent. We hated the place so much that we decided to leave a day early and they refused to give us a refund for the last night. Stay at any place besides this. Archview Resort? More like Archview cesspool.

We stayed at Archview Resort March 2-7, just before the real tourist season kicks off, so it was pretty quiet. The Basic Cabin really is basic, though the beds were comfortable, and the facilities were very clean. The pictures on their website show what you get. You need to bring a lot of stuff to make it comfortable, though. If the weather is not ideal enough to eat on the picnic table, there is a small 2-person table inside, with the tiny refrigerator bolted to it to you can't move it out of the way. There are no shelves for food. It has to be kept in boxes on the floor under the table.

Two chairs are provided. There were 3 of us, so I was glad I thought to bring another folding chair and a tray table that doubled as a night stand. I'm glad I also brought a small rug to catch shoe debris inside the door; otherwise the wood floors would be gritty and uncomfortable. Bring two -- one for the door and the other for the bedside.

There are four or five hooks on the walls to hang clothing clothing, so you will be living out of your bags. There are no towel bars (though there is room for at least two on the walls), so you have to drape your wet towels over the chairs.

There is very little headroom in the upper bunk, and one does have to be careful not to bonk the head in the lower bunk.

The bathroom/shower facilities were very clean, the shower heads were strong, and the water was hot. I was glad I had also taken a little bathmat to use. (Like I said, you have to bring a lot of accoutrements if you're going to be there more than a day or two.)

The room sleeps 4, but I can't imagine trying to co-exist with 3 other people in that space. All in all, though, it was more comfortable than a tent. I'm done with sleeping on the ground. I would stay there again, but only for 2 people.

It is very close to the entry station for Arches NP, and the view from the campground is awesome. We could see the feature called The Spectacles from our cabin. It lights up well at both sunrise and sunset, so keep your camera handy. Moab is just a few miles away, too, beyond the Park.

They have tent and RV spaces, too. I'm sure they fill up quickly. It's a great location and a pretty nice facility overall.

Room Tip: Two of the basic cabins have sliding glass doors, which gives you more light. If you have the option...

Our family goes to Moab every Easter for the Jeep safari. It wasn't until a few years ago we found this place, ever since then we stay here every year. We have always stayed in the double cabins, which have a full size bed and either a twin or twin bunks. They have their own bathroom and shower, a kitchenette that has a sink, mini fridge and microwave. They have heat and air conditioning. Linens are provided. These cabins are small but really all we do in there is sleep, shower and get ready. Outside of each cabin you have your own parking space, a charcoal grill and a picnic table. We've also had friends and family who have tent camped here and I haven't heard any complaints from them. For the campers there are restroom facilities, they have individual bathrooms that have a sink, toilet and shower which is so much nicer than a "group bathroom/shower". They have a little convince store, and I mean little but is good for necessities and maybe some coffee or ice. I've read other reviews on here where people are complaining about it being too far out of town, it's really not that far. Other people in their reviews also complained about the highway, again we were in a cabin but I've never heard noise from that. The people complaining about the location should look into other places to stay in a cabin in town... I have not found a place as nice and clean for this price in town. My one complaint is that to have a fire you have to bring your own pit. No pit, no fire! Which is a real pain to haul all the way to moab with you. Overall we love this place and will continue to call it home for our annual Jeep Safari.
