We have stayed in Moab before and have found accommodation to be very expensive for what you get. We booked the Bowen this time because of good reviews on Trip Advisor, and it was a great choice. We were a bit stressed out due to trouble with our rental car and were happy to have such a clean, comfortable place to stay. Our room was huge, with two comfy recliner chairs to watch TV, king bed, large fridge, microwave, a quiet air conditioner, windows that open, nice bathroom with good toiletries and lots of fluffy towels. Convenient parking right outside the unit. The location couldn't be better - close to the centre of town and the surrounding national parks, good restaurants and grocery shopping. And the price was right - $82 a night, which is excellent for Moab.
Only a few negatives. The person who checked us in was not very friendly, but maybe she had a bad day. The room was not very soundproof. The bed was a bit soft for my taste, and the blanket was a bit thin and worn. Some folks might not like the old 60's style of the place, but it suited us fine.
We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the Bowen to other travellers as a great value.More
