We spotted this motel from a petrol station when driving into Moab and were quite delighted with our choice for one night. Got the last double room for a very competitive rate, the lady at the front desk was very friendly and very helpful and even though we were early, got the room ready for us in 30 minutes and gave us great recommendations for where to go for dinner. The room was nicer than the average motel, had everything we needed: a comfy bed, clean facilities, a big fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, TV, blowdryer, well-functioning wifi and they also have a clean and refreshing pool which was delightful in the August heat. The main street and all the main attractions in town are in walking distance and we were very happy with our stay. Breakfast was not included but literally right around the corner is the Love Muffin Cafe, which seems to be the most popular breakfast spot in Moab at the moment, serving everything from breakfast burritos to granola, quinoa or panini. So really, nothing at all to complain about - quite the contrary!

My family and I happened to stay here for a night and we were pleased. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the location is good, the staff is friendly and the price is right. Our room was in very good condition and was easy on the eyes. If you have any question about Moab or Arches, the front desk will be able to answer them for you.

Now, to the amenities. I found the amenities that we used (that are listen on Bowen's website) to be accurate. Our air conditioning worked just fine and our fridge/microwave both functioned just fine as well. Also, we had an LCD TV that was large. We didn't watch much TV, but for those of you who like TV, HBO and hundreds of channels are included.

For a one night stay, this place was perfect for my family and I.

Room Tip: Watch your step upon entering the room. I believe there is a slight step up.

Stayed here for 2 nights at short notice with my partner- much cheaper than other motels in Moab, so we were a little worried... We needn't have been! Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, particularly on arrival. Great location for downtown moab, wifi, small pool (didn't use so can't offer comment), air con, clean and comfy room.

The room- there is a DOG " pet smell " covered with freshener as you enter the room ( this motel allows pet?). Felt itchy and experienced micro bites on the first 5 minutes. Bed -saggy uncomfortable , furnishings (dated/old) linen (roadside quality and cheap). Floor squeaks and create noises. (sucked up upper neighbors footwork noises- no choice at that moment). AC blows air directly on you and noisy. Carpet stains. If you want ambience, rest , comfort and quality then this will not suit your taste. In fairness - Staff is OK, but needs more training and knowledge (in terms of giving info and dealing with people). Amateurish :( - Do your homework, find a better hotel!
WIFI - slow and slow

Room Tip: Choose upper rooms if you don't mind carrying your luggage on the 2nd floor (no elevator) or suf...

Nearly gets 5 stars as a very good place. Clean and set out like most motels. Easy to find and a good location. Would happily stop here again. Friendly staff made it a pleasant place to stop and its obviously very convenient for the nearby parks.

Third time in Moab for me and this one was the best. Not a 5 star place but it has everything you need at a fairly reasonable price. If I'll be lucky enough to be back in Moab I'll came back here! The receptionist could be nicer but this didn't affect our staying.

We have stayed in Moab before and have found accommodation to be very expensive for what you get. We booked the Bowen this time because of good reviews on Trip Advisor, and it was a great choice. We were a bit stressed out due to trouble with our rental car and were happy to have such a clean, comfortable place to stay. Our room was huge, with two comfy recliner chairs to watch TV, king bed, large fridge, microwave, a quiet air conditioner, windows that open, nice bathroom with good toiletries and lots of fluffy towels. Convenient parking right outside the unit. The location couldn't be better - close to the centre of town and the surrounding national parks, good restaurants and grocery shopping. And the price was right - $82 a night, which is excellent for Moab.

Only a few negatives. The person who checked us in was not very friendly, but maybe she had a bad day. The room was not very soundproof. The bed was a bit soft for my taste, and the blanket was a bit thin and worn. Some folks might not like the old 60's style of the place, but it suited us fine.

We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the Bowen to other travellers as a great value.
