We drove to Moab from Salt Lake City. We have been all over Utah...Bryce...Zion....Canyon de Chey...Grand Canyon...but Archs National Park which ias right outside of Moab is an incredible place. The diversity of the natural formations and the accesibility makes for a photgraphers paradise. We also did a white water raft trip on the Colorado...Adrift Adventures highly recommended. As to the motel...the rooms are knotty pine...quite small...but clean and the staff is helpful. It is a good central location.

What a wonderful stay. The morning staff was pleasant and accomadating. We got discounts on the room for a two night stay and jeep rental. They can get you discounts on other activities in the area also. The room was the best. Nice and big room with a small kitchen area and coffemaker. Good selection on television choices and internet available. For the same money here you get less at other area motels. Not necessary to spend hundred dollars and up for a room when these kind of accomadations are available.

Don't stay on the bottom floor unless you like to hear people above you all night. We had elephant's staying above us. Our river trip that we booked through the hotel got cancelled and no one informed us. We got up early the next morning to meet the river expedition only to be informed about the cancellation.

We just had recently remodeled the rooms above this room and realized that they became noisy....This issue of noise was resolved in December 2009.

The rooms were great, well done, a nice amount of bathroom space and each room had a fridge and microwave. My main gripe with the place was just how loud it was at night, and not because it is right on the highway - the rooms adjacent to the place were super loud. I could hear conversations from the other room!

If you could get a room without anyone around you, I would say this place would be a good deal, otherwise, I would probably look elsewhere. Moab has a wealth of options...maybe try a different one than this.

Room 111. When we opened the door to this room it was like walking into a garden shed....It was completely panelled in wood. It was dark and gloomy not helped by the fact that the electric lighting was so inadequate, one lamp switch fell apart when we tried to switch on the light and it was not possible to open the curtains as the room was on the ground floor with vehicles parked four feet from the window and every guest had to walk past this room to reach their own.

The floorboards in the room above were very creaky and disturbing. However one plus was the lovely comfy beds....the only redeeming feature of this hotel/motel.

The room was quite small with a tiny bathroom, and a toilet that didn't flush properly but a large counter area outside the bathroom gave enough space. A fridge and microwave were provided in the room.. A ceiling fan , a desk fan and very noisy airconditioning kept the room cool enough in September, I am not sure it would in July/August.

We looked into the hotel restaurant, didn't like what we saw, decided to walk into town which seemed about a mile away, gave up and went over the road to The City Market which had a good selection of foods as an alternative.

I could not recommend this hotel to anyone....it was just not our type of accomodation.

Our rooms are lodge style rooms with knotty pine interiors and log pole furniture. Rooms have large panel windows and very adequate window coverings for this type of window style. Our property is an outside entrance therefore you access your room from the parking lot. We also have 2 levels so the 2nd level is not level with the parking lot, at check-in you may request a second floor room. The bathroom area is in 2 parts 1 being the bathtub/shower and restroom area and the other being a vanity area with a sink and large counter. We have newly remodeled our rooms and bathrooms winter 2009-2010.

If you like hard beds, like to listen to cars and trucks role through the night, and like to park on the street because they don't have enough spaces to park your vehicle, then this place is for you!!!!! We stayed here for three nights (we paid up front unfortunately) and found the beds very hard and uncomfortable. the rooms except for the ends, face the road, which is hwy 191, the main road through Moab. The rooms have a glass window wall on the front that face the road. The hwy noise comes right through the glass. They put a drape over the glass but it fails miserably! If you do not get back to the motel by 5pm all the spaces will be full to park and you will be forced to park on the street. We went to the national parks in the area and by the time we would get back around dusk, the parking lot was already over filled and never did get to park on the lot, let alone near our room!!!! There didn't seem to be much simpathy as they knew there was a problem they heard daily. The rooms were clean and neat.
