“Great place to stay!”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

We stayed here for 2 nights in July 2014 and it was great. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable and the air conditioner worked great even in 105 temperatures. We liked that in the bathroom there was a closet with a dresser to put your bags in so you can put them out of sight. The owner was very nice and helpful. You can't beat the location. I would highly recommend this place.

We spent two days here seeing the sights. The motel was perfectly fine for the little time we spent in our room. Beds are a little on the firm side, but after all the fresh air and sunshine we slept fine. Very clean and comfy. Ben, owner, was very helpful with information on the area. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked a room here based on the price and availability on a holiday weekend. The price is great compared to others in the area. Bed was a little firm but we slept fine, weather was nice so we didn't even use the a/c. The room and hallway were very clean and the shower had good water pressure. We used the complimentary guest storage (just bring your own lock) for our bikes. The accommodations are basic but perfectly adequate for what we needed. We would stay here again.

We stayed at the Silver Sage for 4 nights. It is not a concrete building but a module structure. Much like you would see if the main school building was too small and they brought in temporary housing to accommodate the overflow. The a/c is a wall unit and the rooms are very very tiny. We had 2 double beds and the tv is mounted on the wall. If you move your chair in a position to see the tv you are situated between both beds. If the second person wants to watch tv they must sit on the bed and in order to get to the bathroom you will need to crawl over the bed. The a/c must run all the time in order to keep the room from being stuffy. I would not be able to comment of how quiet it was because the a/c was always running. The price point is very good considering the price of the other hotels in Moab. The beds are lumpy and not comfortable and the bedding is very basic. The cleaning lady does a nice job. The shower stall is adequate for a large sized person and the water pressure is fine. You get 1 towel, 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth per person. You are provided a frig, microwave, cable and wifi. I had no personal experience with the manager other than check in.

Good value for money! We stayed three nights in Moab and this hotel was very clean, quiet and comfy! Moab is a bit expensive city, but very close to the Arches N.P. and to Canyonland (Island in the Sky) and you can spare time for the visit!
The staff was very nice and friendly and we had microvawe, coffee-machine, fridge and a table in our room! It's a bit old, but nice, and the room has parquet-floor.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and the owner Ben very helpful with regards to local attractions and when to go. The rooms were really nice, recently redone, with all conveniences like fridge, coffee maker, microwave etc. There was also free wifi and free ice for our day trip. Can certainly recommend.

Room Tip: All good, rooms generally very quiet.

Silver Sage is a gem in Moab. If you want a great place to stay at a reasonable price, this is it. Beds are great, Service from owner Ben is outstanding, who goes out of his way to make things perfect for you. Rooms are recently remodeled and they have full cable TV. Window unit AC/heaters muffle outside noise on the busy highway. Walking distance to several restaurants. The only thing that would make it better would be to have a hot tub/pool, but you can get this at other places is you want to pay the high rates. There is storage for bikes or off road vehicles on trailers. Small place compared to most, with only about 18 units, but it is very clean, quiet, and very well run. Perfect for anybody who is cost conscious or not wanting to pay the high prices of competitors. Highly recommended. Dan, Arvada, Colorado
