A friend told us about this park when we were camping in the area and we love it. The instruments are fun for the kids and nice for the adults to listen to. The park is full of huge mature trees which provide great shade. The bathrooms were clean. As another reviewer said, the park is well taken care of. As for the parking, after parking in the tiny lot at the bottom of the hill, we found a bigger, much more accessible lot uphill, by the basketball court. There is also a tiny creek at the edge of the park which provided much entertainment for our kids. Definitely recommend.

“Rotary Park in Moab”
Reviewed 22 January 2014

The Rotary park in Moab is a must stop for any one with kids or musicians in tow. I think we stopped at this park no less than 8 times on our first trip to Moab. We picnicked there and stopped just to walk around. It is off the main road and tucked inside moab. The best thing about this park is that all of the equipment is made out of industrial materials that have been made into musical instruments. Huge Musical Instruments!!! It is so much fun to stop at this park and play for a while. Young or old you will have a blast. Also this park has some of the traditional play equipment but not a lot. It is also fairly close to the Pack Creek Campground area. Which was perfect for us as Pack Creek is our Campground of choice. There is ample grassy areas and walking trails. Bathrooms are also available. The park seems to be very well taken care of. The parking area is very small for a park with this much fun. We encountered it full a few times. And turning around down at the bottom of the parking area can be a challenge if it is full. All in all this is one of our favorite spots in Moab. It is super shady and perfect for an hour when you just need to take a rest from all of your hiking.
