We spent one night in Moab coming from Page via Monument Valley. We chose this motel according to the recommendation of the Lonely Planet USA Guide.

This motel is located in the main street of Moab just a couple of blocks from the "city center" We had room 21 that is located in the right side of the motel.

The room was fine with TV, free wifi and I must say, a very clean bathroom. From out room we couldn't hear almost no noise from the street.

On the next day we had light breakfast from the motel: muffins (very tasty) and coffee...We have it in the entrance of the motel looking to the street :) If you want a something more to eat, there are several option within the area (The owner of the motel gave us some direction by email)

By the way, the owner, Kris is a very good guy

In overall, I highly recommend this motel and it isn't expensive

My husband and I stayed here 12 months ago. We chose Adventure Inn as it was recommended in the US Lonely Planet guide.
The owners were really great - helpful and really friendly.
While they advertised that breakfast is included it was never a fulfilling breakfast - so we had our own cereal as well.
Location was great, easy walk into town, resturants etc, across the road from a a servo.
We used the owner's BBQ a couple of times and they were more than happy to let us do do.
While you are here make sure you check out Canyonlands - island in the sky - absolutely spectacular!

Stayed at The Adventure Inn over this past weekend, June 10th through the 13th. This place is amazing and the owners, Jim and Kris are amazing hosts. Felt very welcome and enjoyed good conversation with guests and Jim and Kris. Highly recommend staying here and will stay no place else in Moab. Very clean and quiet. Jim and kris are very helpful with any question you may have about the area and go the extra mile to ensure your stay is an A+. GREAT JOB OVER THERE! Cant wait to stay again, thanks Jim and Kris. I've been to Moab a half dozen times, and stayed somewhere different each time. Fair to say that, in general, prices are severely inflated in this town. BUT, the Adventure Inn had a fair price for a room that was clean, a bed that was comfortable, and a shower that was very, very nice. It's on the side of town closest to Arches, so you don't have to deal with as much traffic as you would at other hotels further down the main drag. The proprietors are very knowledgeable about the area. The only complaint I have is that the WiFi wasn't working properly while I was there, but the front desk staff did warn me in advance. All in all, definitely worth it to stay here!

Stayed in B&Bs throughout southern Utah while on a hiking trip, and when we couldn't find anything but a motel, our bar was set to medium for our 4 nights in Moab. The room was big, clean, with a small fridge, and a good sized bathroom. Yes there was some traffic noise but if you hiked hard enough in the day, you slept anyway. Not sure tiny muffins and coffee is really a continental breakfast,, but we didn't really care. Some very good restaurants within an easy walking distance, and this place exceeded our original expectations. Would definitely stay again.

The title says it all. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Moab, this is it! The property is clean and well maintained. Jim and Chris are locals and great hosts. They know the surrounding area very well. They are quick to answer your questions and you can trust their answers. You will "not" get this kind of local content from the bigger chain hotels that have seasonal help. This was my second stay with them and will not be my last. I will be back to Moab and will definitely stay here again.

PS: I am very grateful for the whiners here who have accurately documented their inability to plan and develop realistic expectations based upon their own research. I hope that other whiners will read their reviews and will go elsewhere and reserve this gem of a property to those of us who are experienced travellers, know what we want, and are unwilling to pay for services and frills that we neither need nor want!! Kudos whiners!!

I can't believe the people who would rag on this property. It's EXACTLY as billed. You get a VERY comfy room with no frills. If you want a pool/hot tub, a hallway, a 24/7 desk attendant, 40" flat screen, full breakfast, coffee makers, microwave, room service or a stuffy corporate atmosphere... go elsewhere, and PAY for it - but don't whine about it on here. Use the money you saved and buy a Starbucks or breakfast for your entire party.
If you want a super comfy bed with patterned sheets, plush towels, fun interactive owners, immaculate rooms and bathrooms - Adventure Inn is for you. It's not the FourSeasons, but you're getting one of the absolute best values in town. Free wi-fi, dozens of TV channels (but who has time for TV?) on a 19" set, new carpet in all the rooms, small fridge (no microwave, but there's one in the lobby), & cultured marble tub surrounds and counter tops. Yes, 2-bed rooms ARE bigger & nicer than 1-bed rooms. Deal with it - pay a few bucks more for a bigger room - you've already been warned, don't whine on here.
If you're a pampered Vegas type, you won't like it. If you are easy to get along with, and want a great value in an expensive town - I strongly recommend the Adventure Inn. In its category, there's not a better property value.

Room Tip: book the 2-queen bed room (1-8)
