“A comfortable old-timer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

This AAA-approved lodging is probably the last old-time roadside row motel in Moab,
which is booming with construction as national chains put up multi-tiered inns and
hotels. The place might look vintage, but it has spacious, spotless rooms with everything
in them up-to-date. The beds are especially comfortable, not to mention the comfy room rate.

Convenient location, neat and clean rooms. Near gas stations and eateries.
Having a fridge helps in the summer heat. Microwave and ice machine are in the office.
Nothing fancy but serves the purpose. The sign outside says they take Amex Cards but in reality they do not.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a fridge.

The rooms were clean, the owner was friendly, and the price was good ($70/night for a 1-bed room in the middle of spring break). Located on the northwest edge of Moab along the main street, convenient to Arches NP. No frills (beyond muffins in the office in the morning), but a very nice place to spend the night.

As noted, this motel is on the edge of town and easy to find if you are coming from Arches or the northern entrance of Canyonlands national parks. The owners have done a wonderful job of renovating and updating the entire place and are still in the process (no pictures on the walls or hair dryer). At check-in both Kris and Jim were helpful, offered restaurant suggestions, and shared a bit of their history as motel owners. Sounds like fun, but am sure it isn't always. Nice plantings, fair price (we stayed in early May), clean room, and just a short drive to the main part of town. We like to stay in locally owned properties and make phone or e-mail reservations directly.

Found this hotel in one our travel books and we weren't disappointed.
Family run Inn and nothing was too much trouble for them.

We were looking for a reasonable priced place to stay for 2 nights and this was great.
Rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable.
Great value for money and recommended.

We stayed here over the weekend, so the rates were high quiet everywhere. We had a nice big and clean room. During the evenig it's quiet loud, because the highway is just 20 meters away. You get free coffee and Mini-Muffins in te morning. The staff was very friendly and helped us with questions.

I love the Adventure Inn because it doesn't show up on a lot of search engines for Moab lodging so I've been able to get a room there on pretty short notice. And I think they keep their rates very reasonable, unlike some places in town that suddenly go for and extra $100 or $150 per night once lodging starts getting tight. It's the place I always tell my friends to check first when they are looking for a place to stay in Moab.

The one negative to note is that the parking spots are very compact, especially on the south side. Large vehicles and/or trailers could be a problem.
