Everyone I was with loved eating at the Globe. I 100% recommend the vegetarian black bean soup - it was freaking delicious. The space is very unique, with an art gallery and seating upstairs, a bar downstairs (with lots of great beers on tap), and a few levels of dining seating themed around old Hollywood. The staff was extra friendly!

It's no wonder they make movies in Berlin, MD. It is the quintessential, picturesque small town. If it wasn't so real you would think it is artificial. And the quaintest of the quaint is the loving conversion of the old Globe theater into a restaurant with good food, good entertainment, in a wonderful atmosphere, at incredibly reasonable prices. What more could you ask for. The Seafood Burrito was loaded with seafood and beautifully presented and the Chicken Cheese Steak sandwich delicious. The service was impeccable and genuinely friendly (one of the staff offered that she loved working there) and the jazz trio on stage just icing on the cake. It was a wonderful evening.

Staff is very friendly. Service is ezcellent. Lunch menu is extensive. Food is great. Hummus was light and served with pita and veggies. Daughters gobbler sandwich was huge and a fruit upgrade available instead of chips. My fish tacos were seared tuna. FRESH and very tasty. Sweet potato fry upgrade is worth it. Then came the problem. Dessert is unavoidable with the choices. I had warm pecan pie with caramel on it. Fantastic. Bread pudding of the day aas blueberry with marscapone. Like a liquid blue berry muffin. Ambiance is great in the old theater. Advice is don't leave kids unattended. They have a sign saying they will give them espresso and a puppy if you do. So many choices at and near the shore. None better.

Ate dinner around 5pm in late May. My fish and chips were average, at best. My wife's risotto wasn't too good (tasted bland, as if the sauce was made from water, versus a broth), but her crab soup was excellent. A projection TV played TCM on the screen behind the stage, but it had poor picture quality and no sound. The hostess sat us next to a noisy group, even though the rest of the restaurant was largely empty.
