I've been been getting ice cream from Dan Sena for 20 years now - first when he owned the 31 Flavors and now that he's established Daniel's Cafe. He's a wonderful business owner who runs a great shop - the food is delicious, you can't beat Häagen-Dazs ice cream and his breakfast burritos are among the best I've had.

Always a treat!

Daniel's Cafe is a fun little spot in Los Alamos. Order at the counter, then find a table. You can have a salad custom-tossed with your favorite ingredients, and pay by the pound. (High-end salad bar without the icky germ factor, basically). Or select one of the great sandwiches. Every sandwich in Daniel's is created by, and named for, a local person. Not a famous Manhattan-project era person, thankfully, but a contemporary member of the Los Alamos community. It's a nice touch. Soups and breakfast burritos are also available. To round out your food groups, Daniel's also serves up Haagen Dazs ice cream. Outdoor patio is a nice option in summer, though it faces busy Trinity Drive.
