I had my first Chili Works breakfast experience this week. I love this place first of all for its awesome character, and then for the quick service and fresh ingredients! My colleagues and I ordered breakfast burritos. Two-thumbs up from all...I guess the green chilis were especially warm. If I had to do it again, I would order my breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese, tomatoes, maybe black beans, red chilis, and leave out the hash brown potatoes. Potatoes must be cheap because they featured much too prominently in my burrito. Carbs wrapped in carbs? No thanks.

Chili Works never lets me down. Food is prepared in the blink of an eye, fair priced, and the best tasting in town!

Know for their breakfast burritos. Red chili is awesome. Be prepared to make a bit of a mess. Worth it.

This is not a "restaurant" per se, but rather a small carry-out stand (it has one or two outside picnic tables if you're really desperate for a place to eat what you've bought there, but almost everyone gets carry-out) that exists for those passing through who need to grab breakfast or lunch on the run. In this limited role, it succeeds marvelously. The breakfast burritos are something of a local legend, and justly so, with excellent variety and uniformly high quality. Service is usually extremely quick, constrained only by the likelihood that, if you get there early on a school day, there will be a line of high schoolers grabbing breakfast on the way to class. If you're there after the high-school line clears or on other days, you'll probably have your order within two or three minutes of paying. They're able to do this fast turnaround because of the limited menu (essentially nothing but burritos) and lots of practice. Quality does not suffer from the fast pace. Value for dollar is also excellent, as the no-frills way of doing business allows them to keep prices remarkably low. In all, as little roadside food stands go, this is pretty much a model for the genre, and it is strongly recommended for breakfast.
