“Surprising Little Museum”

Had never been to Los Alamos and wow were we amazed. Gorgeous drive, cute town and an adorable museum with interactive things for kids to play with and so much interesting history. It looked so small outside but they packed that place with plenty to see. It was free and a terriffic stop.

“Great history”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2014

The museum was great a lot of World War Two history of course. The exhibits were excellent. Great video do see it. The staff was excellent. Admission was free. Doesn't take more than a couple hours. Had some great positive nuclear exhibits and research

“Wonderful Museum!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2014

We enjoyed this museum very much. It has many historical items that are very interesting. It was a great way to learn about Los Alamos in the earlier years. It is a smaller place, but definitely worth seeing!

“Hard to find”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014 via mobile

So disappointed we didn't get to visit this place but we couldn't find it! Our GPS didn't do a good job, but we found no signs to lead us here either. Would of liked to seen this place. Needs better directions to it.

“Give the visitor an idea of what life was like while working here during the Manhattan Project”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 July 2014

The development of the "device", in full secrecy is one of the great tales of WWII. The photo ID badges on display are of interest as workers and residents were assigned numbers. Even an ID issued for a grade school child of a scientist.
