One of the fine places to visit in the big bend national park. Drive all the way from the entrance to this place and watch all the scenic view points like Tuffs Canyon and Mule ears and come here. Hike up about half a mile for a great view of the canyon. Even if you cannot hike, you will fell very good at the base. Throw some stones into the water, become a child, and feel the peace. There is one men and one women's restroom at the base. Have half a day for this trip. If you are coming from Terlingua, pay the park entrance fee and take a right immediately on the Ross MAxwell Scenic Drive. This is a beautiful place. Half a day needed.
