My husband and I stayed here with our 9 month old son and our dog. We stayed in the one room cabin with a kitchen and a bathroom. Everything was really clean, it was a little outdated but I think that added to the rustic charm.
The grounds were very clean and well kept as well. It was a little closer to a road and to the town then I would have liked. But, you are right next to the river and down the little dirt drive way is a nice little beach spot for the river where we sat and had our dog play in the water and our son play in the grass. They have bikes that are nice, one has a little trailer attached to it we put our son in.
The office is open all the time and has books, games, phone and internet, and TV. It is a nice place to hang out. The people that run the place are very nice and friendly.
I would recommend this place if you are looking for a step up from camping. Its a little over priced because it is just a step up from camping but sometimes you just have to splurge on a little vacation.
