Back at The Inn on a road trip to enjoy the fall colors and we could not had enjoyed it any more. From the little mints on a welcome letter to the great breakfast and super comfortable rooms. This Inn is our choice to stay in Gunnison, CO.

This place was a real find! For the price, I don't know how you can do any better. It was spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we checked in, we got a bag of treats. What a nice surprise. They even put a little rubber duck on the bathtub for us. The breakfast was great with lots of HOT choices. I would certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for the new rooms. They are currently remodeling.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms were really nice, clean, the beds were very comfy, free breakfast had a decent assortment of things to choose from.
For the price it was more than we expected and better than some more expensive places we've been to

The service was very friendly and helpful, the property is very nice, however it is somewhat out of town.
I would have rated this place four stars except for the following:
Our king size room was small with nice furniture except for a too big easy chair and ottoman. There was no dresser and sheer curtains for privacy had not yet been installed. This room had only a window to the highway which was pretty loud, so we ran the air conditioning.
The pool is a good size to actually swim in, the hot tub was great, but the sliding glass doors were old did not open, except for one, the area was way too hot from the sun on the glass roof all day. It got dark and we couldn't find any light switch. Apparently they are in the small exercise room, which was locked.
We used the washer/dryer. They were cheap, but very old. The washer had only extremely hot water.
Breakfast was in a pleasant restaurant next door and was nicely presented, however some items tasted like they had been re-heated too much and there was no microwave to heat the biscuits.
We were given a key to the exercise room but couldn't use it because of the strong odor from the floor mat.
We had asked for a pet free room but when I mentioned that my husband had problems breathing during the night we were told it actually was a room where they allowed pets but thought none had been in there for while.
I am sure the problems I mentioned will be taken care of in time, the new owners and the staff were very pleasant and I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: All rooms are facing the highway. I would try a room with two queen beds, they have two windows.

Dear Valued Guest,
What a fantastic review! We appreciate hearing what you enjoyed about your stay and are especially glad to hear you'll come back. But more importantly, we're very glad that you shared your thoughts on the areas in which you felt we can improve. As you mentioned in your review, we did just recently take over the management of this property and we know there is still lots of work to be done before we can earn your "four-star" rating.
And by the way, you were right - that brand new floor mat in the exercise room does have a strange (chemical/petroleum) smell. We might have just lived with that if you hadn't mentioned it. We'll take care of that, along with several of the suggestions you made. Thanks for your thoughtful review and thanks for staying with us!
Warm regards,

So I stayed at this resort about a month ago for a girls trip and it was seriously amazing! The staff was very accomodating and helpful. For a bunch of girls that got togerther we got a bit rowdy and not once did we feel like we were a burden or anything. We had a fabulous time. The room we stayed in was a double queen and was comfortable and beautiful. The beds were super comfortable! They set up an outdoor movie theater around the fire with popcorn. I enjoyed that we could stay at the resort and still have a great time. I HIGHLY Recommend this resort to anyone around the area. Its perfect for girls trips, guys trips, and even couples or family trips.

The Inn at Tomichi Village was fabulous. Beautiful room, comfortable bed with many pillows to choose from, excellent service, courteous staff, indoor pool that didn't feel "indoors", wonderful park-like feel where a movie was shown the night we were there and, finally, an excellent free breakfast. And . . . the cost was almost half of the price of a major chain right down the road. We'll definitely choose Tomichi Village again!

My daughter and I stayed here September 27, 2013. We didn't have a reservation but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean & decorated nicely. The free breakfast was good. We would highly recommend.
