27 Blake Street

If you are looking for an intimate place from which to experience the wonders of Asheville, then look no further. Even if you are familiar with the city, Carolyn is a warm and friendly host and also a great resource for suggestions on how to spend any amount of time in the area. She wants you to get the most out of your stay. The residence is charming and restorative, and is the perfect place to stay for a romantic getaway. It is clean, well maintained, and smells fresh. I would characterize 27 Blake the same as Asheville itself: unpretentious charm. You will love it!

This "bed and coffee" was a great value, charming, and convenient. Located near downtown and easy I240 access, this was a great hub to do a variety of activities in the Asheville area. Carolyn was a wonderful help, friendly and accommodating. Good places to eat very close- Tod's for breakfast and Nine Mile for supper were very good- and just a short walk to many options downtown. We enjoyed our 4 night stay!

This was a great place to stay in Asheville. Extremely close to downtown, beautiful and safe neighborhood, and super comfortable accommodations. Carolyn treated us like old friends and gave us tons of recommendations for exploring Asheville. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in Asheville!

We loved it. Just had one night but Carolyn was great, showing us which places not to miss, giving restaurant recommendations and even helping us find a place to park our Pensky truck for the night. Hoping to go again some day!

I would call this a BnC- bed and coffee. Works for me because I enjoy trying differnet resturants. This was an excellent location for walking into town. Lot of history in the neighborhood. Beautiful homes to look at as you walk through the neighborhood. I was celebrating my birthday and Carolyn made it even more special. Carolynn has done a fabulous job on the gardens and pond. She is a wealth of information and likes to her where you have explored. I'm hoping to get back to Asheville and 27 Blake St., there's lots more to see and do.

We had a wonderful experience with 27 Blake Street. The location is ideal - a quiet, beautiful historic neighborhood just a few blocks from the heart of downtown. The room was quite comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The hostess was an incredible resource on all things Asheville - with fantastic recommendations on restaurants and suggestions for things to see and do. Will definitely stay here next time I visit.......

We had a perfectly delightful stay at 27 Blake Street earlier this month. Warm but unobtrusive hospitality from the owner in a lovely spot surrounded by beautiful gardens and sculpture. Every necessity gracefully provided in a well appointed room off large porch, overlooking enormous old oak? tree. Excellent neighborhood. Good quality coffee to prepare provided every day, we took delicious breakfast almost every morning at a nice, little place several minutes away. Fine walk to and from dinner downtown every night. A special place in Asheville, great value.
