My girlfriend and I stayed here from the 25th-27th of December and we loved it! The rooms are very comfortable, with a big bathroom and a huge stand alone bathtub. There is even a window that connects the bathroom to the bedroom, so you can be in the bathtub and still see the bedroom. The hotel is kind of far from downtown (10 minutes drive), so plan accordingly beacuse downtown is awesome!

Room Tip: Stay in the main building!

What a great find this hotel is right at the entrance to the Biltmore House. The hotel lobby is inviting with a four-sided fireplace and lots of comfortable seating. The check-in desk was a large desk/table with comfortable chairs - now that's a nice idea! Off to the left was a small art gallery that you won't want to miss. The restaurant/bar area is very nice too. The guest rooms in the main hotel were very spacious as was the bathroom with a huge soaking tub. We partook of breakfast room service - and that was delicious. While we didn't have a chance to use the spa - we will definitely add that to our stay the next time. We loved it here and will definitely stay again!

I stayed at the Manor House of the Grand Bohemian in Asheville around the 10th of Dec for a couple of nights. Very comfortable, luxurious place. Did think that for the price, there should have been a comfortable wing back or similar chair to sit in. only one straight back at desk! Did enjoy the room service, delicious food, perfectly cooked! The perks were great, valet parking, internet keyboard in room and Bose radio was super! Great location at Biltmore Village where shops were fun and you could walk to shops and restaurants. Very nice stay!

Room Tip: If you stay at the Manor House, ask for a room away from railroad tracks. Train does pass through a...

We stayed at this hotel in early Nov. 2013 to attend a wedding at the hotel. We would describe the decor of the lobby and common areas as rustic. The centerpiece of the lobby is a large and inviting fireplace with large comfortable chairs and sofas adjacent to it - great on a cold day. The walls are adorned with various stuffed animal heads sporting antlers and chandeliers are also made from antlers. While this is not our cup of tea, we understand the overall intent of creating a certain atmosphere for the hotel. We stayed in the main building and our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and more than suitable for our needs. The hotel is perfectly located across the street from the main entrance to the Biltmore Estate (a must see) and is also near some shops, at least a couple of which are local and unique as opposed to some of the other nationwide fixtures. The hotel is a short ride from the Blue Ridge Parkway and downtown Asheville, which is worth exploring. Dining in Asheville is also great, as there are a multitude of restaurants from which to choose. The historic Grove Park Inn in Asheville is also worth visiting for a glimpse into history and to see its magnificent grand-scale stone architecture, even if you have to pay to park in the garage, since free parking is hard to come by. All in all, we had a wonderful 4 days in Ashville and recommend it for a long weekend getaway.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the main building.

Stayed here Dec 2013 as a stop on the way from Nashville to Raleigh. The location is great right at the entrance to the Biltmore and across the street from Biltmore Village. I was impressed that this hotel is a Marriott. One of the nicest Marriott's I've stayed at. We arrived at night and the foyer had several kinds of Apple for the taking and hot apple cider. The foyer is really neat with a large fireplace in the middle. The rate was was very reasonable although we decided to use our Marriott points. I saw a review complaining about parking being 15$. That's really not a lot of money. I was going to park the car on the street but they said they would park my car inside and it was worth 15 to know the car was being looked after.
Everyone was very polite.
The rooms are nicely decorated. The layout is similar to other Marriotts but the furnishings were much more interesting. A big tub and separate shower in a very nice bathroom as well.
Being Elite status we were given a complimentary continental breakfast and 10$ off something from the restaurant.
Here are a few things that can be improved.
1, I could not get an updated bill because the lady at the desk didn't know how to print.
2, I'm used to overpriced breakfast at hotels but 7$ to upgrade a free breakfast just to add two eggs is a big steep.
3, The water in the hotel tastes nasty, maybe they can't help that but then provide some complimentary water so at least you can make some coffee in the room. Complimentary water is regularly provided when you have status with this chain, why not here?
These complaints are minor, we did like staying here and will again if we are back in Asheville again.

Room Tip: We booked the standard room with two queen beds, it was great.

We recently stayed at this hotel for the second time. We were given a room in the manor house across the street, but asked to be moved to the main building.
The hotel is in a great location to shop, eat and visit the Biltmore Estate. We feel like it is a little over priced for the area. The rooms are nice and clean, bathroom is large with separate shower and tub. The lobby was very nice with a beautiful fireplace.
We had breakfast in the dining room. Again, a little over priced for quantity and quality of food. There is also a parking charge for their garage.
Staff members were very friendly and accommodating.
We stay here because of the affiliation with Marriott, the quality of service and the location.

Room Tip: Away from the railroad tracks, unless you enjoy hearing the train pass through.

This Category 8 Marriott really lives up to the hype. Conveniently located across the street from the main entrance to The Biltmore, and surrounded by upscale restaurants and boutiques, it is in a perfect location. Beautifully decorated and appointed with all of the amenities you would expect. We booked a king-size suite and were located on the fourth floor of the main hotel. It was very spacious and luxurious and included two flat panel TVs, a mini fridge, sofa bed, large table and chairs, a deep, jetted tub and rainfall shower head. We arrived prior to check-in but were very graciously accommodated. Highly recommend if you want to feel pampered and indulgent.
