“Quaint charm for a one night stay.”
Reviewed 14 March 2010

Stayed here for a night last fall. What a nice quaint little hotel. I had a mini room - but was nicely done with bed/TV/bathroom - oh and fridge/microwave. Nice fitness room too - manager was very helpful with helping me get a machine turned on correctly. Decent breakfast options.

We were very happy with our visit. The room was big, nice flat screen TV and the bathroom was really nice with the tile bathtub! The continental breakfast was a great surprise. I was thinking bagels and toast...they had that as well as eggs, sausage, Belgium waffles, biscuits and juice...all included. Staff was very friendly. Minutes from Biltmore. I would stay there again for sure.

This hotel we perfect for our trip to Biltmore. It is located right off the interstate about 5 minutes from Biltmore and the Biltmore Village historic area. Our single queen room was the perfect size for two people who didn't need a lot of space. The hotel and room were very comfortably decorated. This hotel seems very new, so the rooms, including the bathrooms, were up-to-date. The breakfast in the morning was very good... much better than the typical continental breakfast. We will certainly consider staying here again on our next visit.

My husband booked this room as a surprise for our 2 year anniversary. I LOVED IT. Our room had a mini-fridge, a microwave, & a coffee maker - all with upgraded plumbing fixtures, new bedding, furniture, free wi-fi, extra computer available for guests & quiet rooms. The breakfast was fresh & delicious. They leave snacks out all the time as well as coffee. It was less than 10 minutes away from downtown Asheville & 5 minutes from Biltmore. The pool had great hours and the staff made us fantastic recommendations for 2 restaurants downtown. All of this for $89.00 per night - on a weekend!!!!!

Stayed at Brookstone Lodge for 2 weeks waiting for our grandson to be born. Very pleasant and helpful staff, clean rooms, convenient location, reasonable rates. Occasionally noisy when buses of students staying for ski trips, etc. Complimentary breakfast was average, but some hot items helped. USA Today was complimentary, but would have liked to be able to buy Asheville paper on site.
The front desk staff gave us a baby-gift basket after the baby was born!

we got a good price on expedia but you usually get what you pay for-and we expected better for some reason. we tried to check in on a sunday afternoon @ 330p. No king rooms were ready and had to wait to get the last one cleaned-the mgr kept wanting to give us a dbl room but we had specially requested a king upstairs and away from stairways. But had to take what was left ,downstairs and next to the stairs(as the door kept slaming all night and morning). The walls are paper thin and can hear most all noise outside, inside and hallways. The hotel is newer but probaly won't take long to really downgrade. The breakfast is ok with not much room to eat with the motel partially full. The 2nd morning @ breakfast they had some business meeting in the lobby and it was packed with no food or place to sit with no warning to the paying overnight guests-with no apology when we asked the mgr. Might as well stayed at the bitlmore, at least they appreciate the guest and can get what you expect.
