When I checked in, I told Jeremy that it was my wife's birthday and he set us up with a bottle of champagne, in addition to having strawberries and chocolate sent up to our room with a birthday card. He didn't have to do any of that and we greatly appreciated it! It is a great location and convenient to all the shops and restaurants. I travel to Ashville on business and will definitely stay there now.

I stayed here one night and returned to watch a ballgame on another visit in their very nice bar/restaurant. The experience you have is going to be the kind of look and feel of the nicest hotels in large cities anywhere in the world. I was most impressed with their friendly staff and customer service. It's a little on pricey side, but here you get what you paid for!

Our first stay at an Indigo Hotel. Two years old and in a great downtown location just off I-240. Easy walking to any destination in the downtown area.

Very modern rooms with striking colors, hardwood floors and an exceptionally large walk-in shower. Suggest requesting a corner room on a higher floor for the best views. Our room had a direct view of the Grove Park Inn. The hotel is "green"; and while this is in keeping with the current trend, the extremely low flow shower heads mean that "green is not necessarily clean". Had to rinse for an extensive length of time to get the soap off. Each room has a Keurig coffee machine. If you desire strong coffee pass over it and buy a cup in the lobby.

The staff knew their jobs and were friendly to boot. Jamie (the Concierge) is special.

They have a breakfast area in the lobby that serves several sumptuous breakfast sandwiches - the Crabmeat Benedict is excellent.

Room Tip: Choose a corner room on one of the higher floors.

Greeted with enthusiasm at check-in. Property is new, clean and the location is fantastic. Overall, the rates are expensive but offset by free parking, free wi-fi and complimentary spring water (located in vending machine area). We will likely stay again on next Asheville vacation.

Room Tip: High floor, even numbered rooms face the mountains...terrific views.

Finally a hotel with wood floors and large rooms! If you have not stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Asheville you have missed out, beautiful rooms with wooden floors and great views. We had a high floor and the view was fantastic overlooking the mountains and the hotel is located right downtown so walking was easy to everything. But you must have the experience of the Concierge Talmadge, who brings back the elegance of the hotel stay. Not only is your every need attended to, you feel like you have the red carpet approach to Asheville. Although the hotel is modern, the entire staff delivers a service that has long been forgotten. We highly recommend the Indigo and recommend you book a high floor with a corner if you can and make sure you ask Talmadge to take you on his personal Ghost tour, you will not forget it, it is incredible.

Room Tip: Get a corner room

A couple friends and I stayed at the Hotel Indigo this past weekend and had a fabulous time. We were just visiting Asheville for a few days but seemed to end up spending a lot of our time in the hotel. We had a corner room with a great view and the room itself was decorated beautifully with plush pillows, bedspreads and robes and slippers. The restaurant downstairs had excellent food of good variety. For breakfast, I recommend the oatmeal with pecans and honey. The hummus and fresh pita bread made a great dinner appetizer. We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out at the bar. It was relaxing, fun and not too crowded. Marc was a great host for our evenings at the bar. Thanks, Marc! Those espresso martinis were yum-mee. The hotel is also in a great location-very easy walk to downtown for dining, drinks and shopping.

Hotel Indigo is unique and eye-catching with its bright colors and modern lines, yet achieves a small hotel feel with its cozy setup and great service. Our room had 2 queen beds and a view of the mountains, which was amazing! We had a corner room, which I would recommend because I think they are a little bigger than the average room. The staff is friendly and quick to respond to any requests. The restaurant is delicious (we tried breakfast and lunch) and the it was fun sitting at the bar drinking espresso martinis. Marc, bartender, was entertaining and gave us excellent service. The hotel is in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Room Tip: Corner room, with a view of the mountains
