Stayed here during a recent visit to Asheville, and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful all around - from the front desk to the valet. Room was immaculately clean, modern, comfortable and quiet. Big thirsty towels, huge shower, very comfortable bed. No bathtub in the room - but the shower was awesome.

Asheville has a great downtown with lots of restaurants and shops, and all are easy walking distance from the Indigo.

This place has a cool, modern vibe but also a warm welcoming staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We work hard to strike the perfect balance between an appealing modern vibe and classic southern hospitality. Downtown Asheville offers such an impressive array of restaurants, shops, and breweries. We are delighted you enjoyed your visit and look forward to your next stay!

My husband and I were looking for a hotel to stay at that was close to our family in the neighboring town of Hendersonville and was within walking distance to some downtown Asheville shops/hot spots. This hotel couldn't have been more ideal for what we were looking for. We got a king room with a mountain view - it was so spacious, clean and the bathroom was huge. The snack/coffee counter was a great way to start each day and the bar was perfect for a nightcap each evening. We had a rental car and there was always plenty of parking in either their underground garage or side parking lot. We walked to wine bars, the Grove Arcade, you name it. Right off interstate. Would definitely stay again.

This review made my day! I am so glad you enjoyed visiting us in Asheville! Our location is perfect to just park and explore downtown Asheville, yet convenient enough to hop on the highway to neighboring towns like Hendersonville. We look forward to seeing you next time!

There sure are a LOT of barking dogs and slamming of doors (and it's after 10:00 pm). You'd think people at a supposedly classy hotel would be more considerate. Other than that, it's a pretty nice place. I'll add a dot in the morning. Maybe.

The room was absolutely lovely and comfortable. We had a king bed and the room had comfortable furniture for just relaxing. The bathroom and shower was absolutely incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to accomodate us. Wonderful location for downtown Asheville. We would definitely return. Great views. Free parking.

We stayed here for a week in October 2012 to attend a concert at the Asheville Civic Center and visit family. The concert was within walking distance as were the downtown shops and the Oktoberfest celebration. We stayed on the 7th floor in a quiet corner room with a king bed. The views were breathtaking. They had a pet friendly policy and we were able to keep our 2 little dogs with us. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner several times. The food and the service was great.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a relaxing getaway. The check in was fast and parking was free. We had a room with 1 king bed. It was within walking distance to most everything downtown but some of the places required walking up steep inclines so keep that in mind if you are planning to walk.

The cafe area was tiny. They had a limited selection of foods and we tried to get something after 11pm one night and all they had left were these awful Chocolate cake things in a bowl. They were really bad.

The only complaint we had about the stay was the lack of a "do not distrub sign" in our room. Both mornings, the housekeeping staff knocked on our door at or around 9:30AM and woke us up. We even requested a late check out on the last day to sleep in before our 6 hour drive home and they still knocked and woke us up at 9:30 that day as well. I know they are just doing their job but this could be prevented with a small sign provided in each room.

Overall, the hotel was nice. We would probably stay here if we needed to come back to Asheville in the future. Everything was clean and everyone was very friendly.

Thank you for your review. We genuinely appreciate hearing honest accounts about our guests' experiences with us. I must say I'm slightly disappointed that you aren't clamoring to come back to Asheville, but I certainly understand why. We are working on communicating late checkouts with our housekeeping team more effectively to avoid the inconveniences that you experienced. I am so sorry that we missed putting a "Do Not Disturb" sign in your room, and even more regretful that we did not have something delicious for you in our Bistro cold case. Please let me know if you have further feedback or if we can do anything to enhance your next visit with us.

We had never before been to Asheville, so had no preconceived notions about what to expect. Well, Hotel Indigo has a wonderful location, the views are absolutely spectacular and the staff is unbelievably friendly. And I mean everybody is friendly, from the front desk, to the hotel bar, to the restaurant, to the housekeeping staff. I think that's what made it so special.

Oh, and the view from the penthouse was exquisite. The mountains are free to look at, but from the vantage point that we saw them from, they looked like our own personal peaks.

Thanks so much for making the time we had in Asheville so special.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the mountains.
