We stayed here while exploring Ashevlle, white water rafting, enjoying the mountains, and then taking our kids to summer camp in Hendersonville. This location is not in the middle of Asheville, about 20 minutes away from downtown. However, it is in a central location to multiple different areas and in a shopping/dining district called Biltmore Park that has several nice restaurants, many shops, and a beautiful movie theater. After a great day of exploring the Blue Ridge mountains, we came back to a luxury level hotel and could walk out the front door to a movie & dining. We have stayed at several other hotels in Asheville, including the Grove Park Inn, which is nice, but old. This hotel looks brand new and surrounded by everything you need as a western north carolina home base, 10 minutes from Asheville airport.
