“Modern hotel in business park area of Asheville”
Reviewed 2 February 2011

This hotel is perfect for business visitors to Asheville, built in the new Biltmore Park development. The location is about a 10minute drive from downtown Asheville, so quite convenient for sight-seeing. It is also just off the main highway, but quiet.

The quality is typical of Hilton, very polished and well presented. The room was very clean with the typical amenities. The bathroom especially was top notch with a great shower. There is free Wi-Fi and a big LCD TV in each room. The staff were very helpful on check-in and friendly during our stay. The breakfast buffet served was outstanding and well worth the money, including various cooked meats, eggs, fruit. They also serve freshly cooked omelets as part of the buffet. The only slight issue was slow service - it took a while to be seated and to get refills on our coffee and juice, but we were there just after thanksgiving, so they were perhaps a little understaffed that morning.

The hotel has very good free parking. It also has a pool and fitness center, and a bar. Across the street is an Italian restaurant well worth visiting, and there is also a cinema within walking distance.

I would definitely stay here again.

This was an awesome place to stay for a weekend getaway. The rooms were luxurious, and really nice. The location was really great- close to restaurants, Barnes&Noble and the movie theatre.

Overall it's hard to beat this Hilton. I had just one complaint and that is the low flow shower heads are horrible. It will take you twice as long to take a shower so I don't really understand why they use these.

I stayed at this hotel for New Years’ weekend with my girlfriend.

To begin with, the front desk service was spotty. It ranged from rude and snappy when I asked about the possibility of changing rooms (from 2 Doubles to a King) right after check-in to very congenial when I went downstairs the next morning to get a breakfast coupon that they failed to give me (I am a Diamond HHonors member).

The rooms were new and clean and we had a view overlooking the shopping complex on the fourth floor. However, the HVAC system was extremely noisy and didn’t seem to work that well. My biggest complaint about the room was that the bathroom fan didn’t work, so every time we took a shower, it was like being in a steam room. I asked on 3 separate occasions to get this fixed but nobody had the courtesy to get back to me and it was never repaired. That’s unacceptable.

We chose to Valet park since it was only $8/day. I’m guessing they don’t do a lot of parking because you usually have to go looking for someone to park and/or retrieve your car as opposed to them looking for you. On New Years Eve we stood around for 5 minutes trying to find a valet while the people behind the front desk just stared at us.

This hotel really doesn't have a business center. They just let you "borrow" one of the computers behind the bellman's desk. When I tried to open a PDF document, I couldn't do it because the computer didn't have Adobe reader installed on it. Are you kidding me!?

On the bright side, I rarely eat dinner in a hotel, but they have a restaurant called Roux that had great good reviews, so we decided to try it. The restaurant sources much of their food from local farmers and the food was excellent, as was the service. The breakfast was also top notch, with a good buffet.

I spend about 30 nights a year in Hilton hotels and this is my first complaint. The only reason I am giving them a thumbs up is because this is a newer hotel and they deserve a second chance. But they need to improve, and improve quickly.

New Hotel in a new district of Asheville, quite far away from the city centre. but surrounded with very nice restaurants and coffee shops. in addtion, a major movie theatre is just a cross the street.
The suite was really spacious and naturally let very well. the bathroom was large but without bath tub.
the parking is offered free of charge and in the hotel parking covered building.
i really liked this hotel and i will defnitealy come back again

I stayed here for the weekend with my wife and infant daughter. The staff was very nice and accomodating. We were met with a smile at every turn. Room service was great as well. If you get a chance please try the bread pudding. It was excellent. Not to mention the fact that it was surrounded by first class restaurants, a movie theater and a great view. You can not go wrong at this hotel. 5 stars!

We took a short trip to Asheville to tour Biltmore Estate and other sites. I chose this hotel since it was new and nicely located.

I was not disappointed with the hotel and especially appreciated the excellent staff. To start, parking is free and next to the hotel with a covered walkway to the rear of the hotel.

The room was typical Hilton (a good thing to me) with a very comfortable bed, flat screen TV, etc. Plenty of room and a nice view of the Great Smokies out the window of out fourth floor room. There was only a shower not a tub which was fine with us but may be a problem for some.

The included Breakfast buffet with came with our rate was very good with plenty of hot and cold choices.

A couple of very nice restaurants across the street, a sports bar a short walk away and several other shops including a very large REI store in the immediate area.
If you paln a visit to the Asheville area, this a good choice for a stay.
